Very disappointing and dirty

Good location with a grocery store across the street.

I recently stayed at the Best Western Plus Arrowhead Hotel, and unfortunately, it was a very disappointing experience. We arrived just after 6:00 p.m. and waited at the reception desk for over 15 minutes before anyone appeared. The lobby was full of guests and the atmosphere felt chaotic and disorganized from the start. When we finally got to our room, it smelled strongly of stale smoke. We had specifically requested three beds, and the pullout sofa was unacceptable — the mattress was paper-thin, visibly stained, and honestly not fit for a dog bed. It was clear there was little attention paid to cleanliness or quality control. The common areas reflected the same lack of care. There was trash sitting in the elevator that remained there overnight, and the property overall felt unkempt and poorly maintained. Breakfast was absolutely disgusting — low quality, poorly presented, and not something I would expect from a “Plus” property. Two stars is generous at best. I would not stay here again and would not recommend it to others.

The location of this place is not good at all!!! We also got charged for a rug stain that we didn’t do!!! And even though I called and talked to manager they told me there was nothing they can do. That’s not ok because I know for a fact we didn’t not do that. And also there was tons of mosquitoes in pool area that we couldn’t even enjoy at all!

My stay was ok.

The hotel was located near where I needed to go therefore it was convenient and easy to access from the I10 highway . The ladies at the reception desk were friendly . The room has a good size .

What we didn't like is that the furniture in the bathroom particularly the towels cubby was worn out , it would benefit from either replacement or a fresh coat of paint . One of the bath towels was dirty , it had a yellowish stained on it . Under the beds there was a lot of dust and some trash, it seems like this area of the room is not vacuumed . The first night was nice and quiet but the second night, there was a constant noise and we were not sure if it came from the elevator or the laundry room , our room was 312 and it was closed to both the elevator and the laundry room .

There was blood on wall of room and staff is rude.

The room that i was given had blood on the wall. The elevator was broken/ unusable. Front desk attendants need to be trained much better, very rude and is unaware of policies.

OK for a traveler to past one night

The breakfast was OK but not the best one neither. The location, very close to the I10 but without having the noise of the freeway, was what I was looking for. You can find a few restaurants close to the hotel too.

The floor in the bathroom was sticky. The shower curtain was too short so it was impossible to take a shower without having the floor completely wet. The bathroom certainly needs an upgrade.
