Loved that the manager/owner Heather was quick, and easy to deal with a couple requests.
Didn’t like the ant problem, mostly throughout the the bathroom.

The property is very well located. Comfortable, with very good carpet and pictures, and functional furniture.
1. The first two nights were dominated by defective performance of the heating/cooling system. After many attempts, on day three I found the circuit breaker and was able to turn it off. When assistance arrived it became apparent that the problem was flat batteries in the remote control unit: they were 2.5 years out of date, so had presumably been in place since the system was installed.
2. The kettle was defective, causing a residual current detector to fuse. We were able to heat water on the stove. Kettle was replaced.
3. The property had not been adequately checked for cleanliness before our arrival. We were able to deal with the cobwebs and dust.
4. The exterior veranda was dark and gloomy caused by overgrown ivy and filthy roof windows.
