Unprofessional, rude, arrogant receptionist

Unprofessional, rude, arrogant receptionist ! I am extremely disappointed with my experience at Hilton Garden Inn Austin Northwest/Arboretum. During check-in, the front desk receptionist (Rhonda) was rude, aggressive, and unprofessional toward me. She raised her voice, spoke in a condescending manner, and even wagged her finger while insisting that my confirmation number was incorrect, despite my polite responses. When I asked her to calm down, her behavior did not improve. I eventually had to request her manager to complete the check-in, which was the only way the situation was resolved. I have never experienced this level of disrespect at a hotel before. Because of this experience, I will not be staying at this hotel again and do not recommend it. Update: I later noticed that many other guests have reported similar experiences with the same receptionist. Unfortunately, it appears that hotel management is aware of this issue but has chosen not to address it.

The lobby was nice and bright and felt comfortable sitting and ready the paper or working.

The hotel seemed to be recently renovated. It was quite, although near the main road of HWY183. The staff friendly and parking very close to the main entrance.

The pool was a bit cold so my husband didn't get in.

I liked the overall environment of the building. Beautiful appeal walking through the front doors and throughout the building. The Room given was homey, for a hotel.

- The showers water pressure seemed non existent and couldn’t maintain even a warm level water temp for even a short duration. - Preciously stated when purchased that the breakfast was included, come to find when dining that it was of charge and pretty high value at that, overall okay but not pleasant to find being charged for that. - For the king sized room, was left uncomfortable at times due to sharing a door with people next door, whom were quite loud and disruptive throughout the nights.

Good stay

Parking was free and accessible. Receptionist (Rhonda) was very attentive and helpful. I booked through booking.com and it said I had free breakfast. When I checked in, the receptionist told me there was a charge for the breakfast but I showed her what it said in my reservation and even though she explained that booking.com had erroneous information about the hotel, she still honored the free breakfast. I was also charged a new tourism tax that wasn’t included in the online reservation but nothing major. The hostess was really nice and the breakfast was good.

This hotel was exceptionally nice. The downstairs common areas were clean and inviting. I loved the landscaping in and around the facility. The room was spacious and open and the bed was very comfortable. The hotel was about a block off the highway so exceptionally quiet and restful. We will definitely stay here again and the price was very reasonable for the quality of the hotel.

I really had no issues with the hotel. The breakfast pricing - whether it was a pay breakfast or if there were complimentary items wasn't completely clear. We didn't dine at the hotel, but the breakfast looked very good.

Nice “sort-of-free” breakfast with lovely rooms.

It was very nice. Nice room. Clean.

Breakfast was supposed to be included in my price, but I had to prove it with a voucher from the front desk. It was a buffet, serve yourself but the waitstaff made you feel obligated to tip. That’s not free breakfast. Other than that everyone was nice and the room was great. My wife didn’t like her lumpy pillow.

A soul crushing disappointment. I was trying to save money, not get depressed.

Friendly staff, guitar in lobby nice touch, fitness center in good shape, breakfast was amazing and the people laboring over it made it so. You do not skimp on fresh and quality ingredients so don’t start now. Oatmeal a little runny.

The location sucks. You guys can do better. The room was terrible. The TV channels did not line up with the display and my sink was clogged. I reported both of these. Got some nice complimentary stuff like water and one breakfast. Tv was fixed by sink remained clogged all weekend. Staff said there wasn’t another room. Check your sinks regularly and authorize a damn plumber to come during the weekend to unclog sinks.

Easy Stay for a couple nights in Austin

Loved this lobby! It was gorgeous, spacious, with plenty of place to sit. Rooms were adequate and kept very clean. Market with food & personal care items in lobby was very well stocked. Just a short 15 min. Uber/Lyft ride away from downtown!

We weren't the only guests who thought that breakfast was free! This must have been an error on Booking.com. Front desk staff was kind, but dressed casually which was not something we were used to. I didn't like that I got a text while I was there asking how my stay was, it felt unsolicited.

I had to unclog my own toilet!!!

The location was perfect for my reason for traveling. The room size was ideal. We absolutely loved the breakfast here. The people were also very friendly.

The toilet was clogged. The staff handed me a plunger to unclog the toilet myself. I was handed a dirty plunger in bag that contained sewage from the previous use. I was appalled and extremely disappointed. I had NEVER experienced anything like this before.

The lady that waited on us actually asked us if we wanted to leave a tip after she looked at the bill we returned. We didnt want that added to our card so we were going to leave cash but the fact she was insinuating we needed to leave one was kind of rude.
