easy convenient stay

Was easy to get to, park and check in. Very helpful check in staff who pointed out eating options when we arrived in the evening. Breakfast was good, nothing fancy but served the purpose of having an option of eggs, sausage, waffles, cereals and toast.

Great and affordable stay

Location great, room clean and smelled nice, breakfast was great! I have stayed here several times and it is great for my budget. I especially appreciate the free parking and included breakfast.

I requested a specific room because from staying there before, knew that that room had a good bed. The person in check in made a little "fun" of me for requesting a specific room and I felt embarrassed. Didn't appreciate that.

Great - with a hiccup - and then Great!

The person at check in was great. When I got to the room, there was a horrible smell - like rotting food. I called down to the front desk and they immediately changed rooms for me. I have stayed here several times and so know that it was only a "one-off" situation. The room he moved me to was excellent! Thank you so much.

Great place to stay for San Diego's more well-known attractions, but be careful driving in!

BW usually has the better breakfast options, and this one sure did. The location was great, walking-distance to Mission Bay Park and San Diego's AMAZING transit (cheap and very efficient) which can literally take you anywhere throughout greater San Diego. It is a pet-friendly hotel, for which I am truly grateful.

The room was smaller than expected. The driveway is very tight and the traffic can be hard to deal with since it is a very tourist-y area.

If you don’t need anything fancy and just need all the essentials, this is a good place to sleep.

Was clean and staff were friendly. Had everything I needed and it was quiet.

Refrigerator didn’t work well, I had to hope my food was good the next day (it was decent after I turned the fridge all the way up so my food survived the night). The heater caused the room to be humid and there was a lot of condensation on the windows. The room had an odor that wouldn’t go away. The parking was kind of tight on the office side.

I stayed for a day just to be closer to my job a shift I picked up

The staff was nice and the breakfast was good the rooms were super clean and nice

I didn’t like that the heaters barley work I asked for a new room because the room I had was blowing out cool warm air and the second room they gave me the heater kept going on and off it was noisy and I ask for more blankets because I was cold and they gave me two scrunched sheets. I was so cold

Beds were actually nice.

The room wasn't very clean. I couldn't sleep worrying about cockroaches running across the walls. Toilet paper on the floor in the bathroom. It looked like food stuck to the floor. Very disappointed. If you pay over a hundred dollars for a room you would expect a bug free clean room.

Has guest laundry. Staff at lobby was nice- got extra pillow and towel when needed Good hot shower. Loved the fridge + microwave + coffee maker. Used fan on high for white noise. Had elevator which was great. Good water pressure w hot water. Room has a desk, a large newer TV, ironing board w iron. Overall efficient use of space. Nearby activities- Zoo, whale watching, beaches, airport within 10-15min drive. Grocery (vons Sprouts TJ) within 10min drive Safety-Felt fine, didn't feel sketchy at all Walkability- Lanna thai and sushi ota & 7-11 a short walk away Cali banh mi and mcD within a few blocks

Queen 2 beds room was fine for us 2 adults 1 toddler but would def be too small for 4 adults. Bed isn't the most comfortable but felt fine and we slept fine. Pillows lumpy- some thin some thick. Also fine w us.

The receptionist asked for my deposit, worth $ 100, so I gave them my card. However, they have not returned my $ 100 deposit yet.

Motel is in a good location for me and I like that there is a 7-11 close by and places to eat like Rubio's and McDonalds.

Easy to find, could find parking near my room, room was compact but had everything I needed for a one night stay. Folks on the check-in desk were efficient.

Completed check-in forms online ahead of time, then had to do more on arrival - was either redundant or duplicated effort. Kinda frustrating after a long drive.

The motel and staff did not inform this until after check in. Asked for a basic compensation or to be put up in another hotel where I could go to the bathroom or shower. They said “sorry we are unable to assist you!”….. ridiculous.

Parking was easy, location is good, pool is clean, complementary breakfast is great, and there's a fridge and microwave in the room.

It served its purpose.

The room was very clean and had recently been updated. The bed was super comfortable.

I had to park far away from my room, on the opposite side of the building, which as a single mom traveling with my younger son it left me feeling uneasy, especially in that neighborhood. The free breakfast was decent, about what you would expect from hotel food, but the eggs were pretty nasty.
