About this apartment rental
Duplex apartment in the resort of "Les Coches", on the top floor of a building: « Le Rami » located in the middle of a quiet ski-run (no queue at the bottom!): when you leave the building, you put your skis on. // One lift and you are at the telepherique leading to Les Arcs. Three further lifts, and you are on the large slopes of La Plagne. On your return you take your skis off in front of the entrance of the ski-racks. //
The resort (400m from the apartment) is a typical and charming family village, located at an altitude of 1450m. Its low altitude, suitable for young children, is not a disadvantage as regards snow because the pistes are provided if necessary with artificial snow to assure the link « Vanoise Express » by telepherique between the two massifs. // In January 2010, we will renovate the flat, change the bedding and install local pieces of furniture in the "Savoyard" style // The final cleaning and all charges and taxes are includded in the rate. // Only one optional service: linen (sheets, towels, table and kitchen linen): 18 euros per person.

Host is quick to communicate and very helpful (Gaëlle as well) with our very lastminute booking. Appartement has enough room for us, a family of 5, and stunning view. Clean and cozy, we had a great stay. Upstairs bathroom is a bit small but the rest of the appartement (2 bedrooms) slightly bigger than you would think from the ad.

L'appartement est tout à fait charmant, décoré avec beaucoup de goût,
très bien équipé (appareil raclette, sèche-cheveux, grille-pain,
cafetière ...) et nous a ravi pendant cette semaine où nous nous sommes
sentis chez nous. Vue magnifique sur le Mont-Blanc. Mise à disposition
de documentation par les propriétaires pour découvrir le village et le
domaine skiable (ski alpin, promenades, balade en traîneau...).
La résidence est située à 10-15 min des commerces, facilement
accessibles par un chemin piéton également praticable en luge. La
navette s'arrête au pied de l'immeuble et permet de rejoindre le jardin
d'enfants ou le départ du télécabine. Accès à une piste rouge au pied de
l'immeuble.
Peu de commerces aux Coches, quelques activités proposées dans la
semaine (dégustation de produits du terroir, animaux de la ferme,
descente aux flambeaux, essai de luges yooner et snake-gliss, ...). Loin
des stations de ski bruyantes et bondées, Les Coches est un village
idéal pour des vacances familiales avec des tout-petits.
