Could use some tlc

We liked the layout of the property. There is a sports bar attached to the building. There was a gas fire pit with lots of available seating outside. The pool area was large. The beds were comfortable. I liked the pillows. There was a desk with chair and an upholstered chair in our room. The parking lot was well lit and there is plenty of parking. We were pulling a trailer and had no issues finding a spot.

The popcorn ceiling in our bathroom was starting to come down. The tub resurface was peeling. It felt like there was a lot of maintenance that needed to get done, ie rusty door hinges, corners of the floor needed a good scrub, the door to the ladies restroom in the breakfast room needs replacing. It stuck badly. Doors were dirty. The chair in our room was dirty and the fabric was fraying. The property is extremely close to the highway, which although convenient, made for a noisy room for sleeping.

I would stay if nothing else was available.

The pool was nice, and the location was great for our needs.

The facility needs updating, it gives “just paint everything” landlord vibes. We had two rooms, and all three beds were different mattresses. Straight out of the Goldie locks nursery story. One was hard, one was too soft and one was perfect. The bath/shower is older then my grandmas, never been updated in 40 years type of shower, but the water pressure was wonderful. Definitely pricey for what it was, I wouldn’t have paid what I did if I knew what it really looked like. The pictures are deceptive. The staff is hit or miss, some super friendly, and others who need to purchase a bottle of better attitude at the nearest Walmart.

Nice when needed

The location was close to the places I needed to go. Several restaurants are very close. The pool was nicely maintained and very refreshing. Nobody there. Loved that. There is a restaurant and bar adjacent to the hotel. Breakfast was available. All staff was very friendly

Could hear interstate traffic all night. Sure it would have been better on the other side of the hotel. The restaurant and bar are very pricey. Breakfast was basic-yougart, cereal,juice,coffee,waffles and apples

Location close to I 95 N, good for an overnight when traveling, restaurant on site. The best was the large, well maintained courtyard, shaded comfortable outside seating, pool.

The room was comfortable, but it definitely could use a lot more attention to cleaning. The floors were barely swept, found several pieces of paper & some king of wrapping plastic on floor on floor next to bed, they don’t look like they get washed very often, if at all.

Nasty

Nothing it was very smelly just nasty

It smelled real bad semi trucks in the parking lot were firing up there trucks all night long. We were supposed to stay 2 night’s We got there late at night and we were super tired so we stayed the night then checked out first thing in the morning we did not get our 2nd night fee refunded yet and probably won’t see a dime back

The location to Savannah and Tybee was great. plus it was near my work location.

Strike three! We were originally checked-in to room 162, which had a horrible musky smell especially in the back portion of the room. We returned to the front desk and notified them about room 162. We were moved us to room 142 with no issues. Room 142 had a terrible leak under the sink and a cigarette and other odors. After another trip to the front desk they moved us to room 114. The lady at the front desk stated that she couldn’t move us if we didn’t like room 114. It’s sad that we were in three rooms in less than five minutes. This room wasn’t better. Room 114 had a dead beetle in the restroom, was extremely dirty under shower soap holder, had a large opening under the entrance door, and the A/C is caked with dust. We also found a dried out dead lizard in between the right side of the bed and chair/ottoman. I’m sure the lizard and beetle came in under the opening at the bottom of the door. The caked on dust is probably a large contributor to the odors in the rooms. Everything we saw shows that rooms aren’t being cleaned as needed. I stay at other Choice locations, however this was two stays in one for us, first and last. I’m curious if Choice does surprise inspection for owner/operators who carry they brands?

Exceptional

The location was nice- not too far from Savannah but with lots of dining choices nearby. The king bed was comfy and the room was nicely decorated and had everything we needed. The pool was a few steps from our room.
