Carisbrooke Inn Bed & Breakfast

The Inn is very close to the beach, and also walking distance to restaurants, shops, etc. The staff were friendly and helpful. All the information you need is readily available. The accommodations are quite charming, and we had the capacity to keep the room nice & cool in the hot weather. The breakfast was good, and the afternoon free ice cream was fantastic!

The property is not in the least handicapped accessible, although some measures are taken to accommodate for some needs. The king bed in room #2 is a little uncomfortably soft. The room is a bit small. Whereas breakfast is a couple of doors down, the menu is somewhat limited, and not all of the staff was familiar with the difference between what is available to general customers in Ventnor vs. guests from the inn.

Location is perfect, it's close to the beach! And the provided parking is great. Loved the included breakfast, it was delicious. Saw the host/owner for a brief second, he inquired how we were enjoying our stay and if we needed anything.

The weather! Not the Inn's fault, lol.

I loved everything. The service was exceptional, communication was effective at all times, and they helped me with a last-minute change. I would definitely recommend them a thousand times.

For me it was easy to access, but I believe someone with reduced mobility might have some difficulty due to the stairs.

The hotel appears to be a rundown old house that has been divided into rooms with bathrooms shoehorned into each room. The bathroom had mismatched plumbing fixtures and fittings and was so small that I can’t imagine it would meet code requirements. My stay was around September 20, so the price was cheap. The TV was impossible for me to use. I was hoping to watch a little of the Thursday night NFL game, but it was impossible to figure out how the TV worked. A screen kept coming up asking for my ROKU pin. Please include more instructions about the ROKU and the TV. The wall to wall carpet was worn on the stairs and halls and the furnishings were mostly yard sale finds. I don’t mind staying in a rundown hotel as long as it appears clean and the price is cheap. The owners should be a little more honest in the description of the place. I would not use words like luxury or premier.
