Great location, perfect for walking downtown. Check-in and check-out were easy and everyone I interacted with on the staff was polite and efficient. Good cost benefit for what it is: a budget hotel that is well located downtown Hyannis. I found the room to be clean and all amenities were as described and expected.

They use a very strong smelling cleaning product on bare floors. Not a chemical smell, like a sweet floral overpowering smell. I’m quite sensitive to odors and it would have been awful if it lingered in the room - but it did not. It was only quite bad as I walked by while they were cleaning. Nothing that affected my stay - (I also travel with an air purifier so there’s that) - just noting for awareness of others that are sensitive to odors.

The lobby was gorgeous and the staff was friendly . Ample parking

As soon as I left the counter to go towards my room I opened a door that seemed like it was from the 90s and immediately I felt the difference from old to new . You could tell they re did the room but there were things that threw me off . A red stain on the outlet and do not disturb sign - finger nail polish- or something else ? The bed sheets felt damp and uncomfortable. The phone had something previously spilled on it - the info card had water marks on it . The part that made me the most uncomfortable was it was an adjoining room and there was no safety feature to ensure the door remained closed besides the nightstand pushed in front of it . It made me super freaked out. But i was literally only there for a night to sleep so I just forced myself to sleep it off .
