Comfort Inn Chatham

I have mobility issues (not disabled but not easy to climb stairs) and we requested 2 queen beds near the elevator or on main floor. We were given the wrong room with a king size bed and pull out couch. We were switched to a room with 2 queen sized beds but it was at the far end of the hotel on the main floor away from the front lobby and breakfast area so it required a long walk. The gentleman at the front desk was able to switch to this room but we had to show our emails to prove we had requested a room for my mobility. This was one of four hotels we stayed in on this driving vacation. It was not as nice and modern as some of the other hotels for the same price.

Being so far from the breakfast area. The parking area and entering/exiting the hotel parking was layed out a bit strange.

The breakfast was lackluster. During checkin we prepaid and when we arrived was asked for a credit card. Would have been nice to be explained that one needed to be held on file for deposit? Also I noticed there was a double charge on the account.

The breakfast and lack of elevator. We had a lot of luggage to tote up the steps. Also there wasn’t many outlets to charge devices in either.

I did like clean environment outside and inside

I would buy more outdoor chairs, because this amount is not enough for everyone.

Beakfast was excellent

An elevator would have been expected. No baggage carts.
