    This hotel offers reasonable rates if you're planning a roadtrip stop but still want to be within walking distance to restaurants or even a swim in the river. It's very clean and has had some stylish updates in the main areas, but not as much in the rooms. Pool area is nicely done in a retro vibes, and open until 11pm which would be ideal if they implemented an adult hour for the last hour. You may need a PhD to work their TV remotes however but overall the stay was good with a few minor exceptions in the workout room and the fact that you're paying extra for parking...in Kamloops! Where are we? Downtown Seattle?

    Hotel was nice, lots of amenities, staff was very friendly. Room was very clean as well. Would definitely recommend The Thompson and will be staying here again
