A Sterling Memory: Love That Never Fades

We recently spent two nights in Niagara Falls with my spouse of 32 years, who is battling terminal cancer. Knowing our time together on this earth is limited, we wanted to take a small, meaningful getaway. We chose to celebrate Valentine’s Day a little early and stayed at Sterling Inn & Spa. It was truly one of the best experiences we have ever had. The room was incredible, the staff were remarkable, and every detail made our stay feel special and comforting during such a tender time in our lives. We have already recommended the Inn to our family and friends. Thank you for giving us such a beautiful memory when we needed it most. Room 107 will forever hold a special place in our hearts. Great location, with breakfast included, in a clean and comfortable setting.

I loved my room- I was upgraded to a King suite and it was so roomy, yet comfy. Breakfast was included and it was promptly delivered to my room at the time chosen. I had to be out early, so I appreciated that 7am was an option. It was tasty, had lots of variety and options for whatever I woke up feeling like. The bathroom was spacious and well stocked.

Location was suitable for any activity in town. The breakfast was amazing - lots of food and served in the room. The steam shower worked well and was a bonus. Rooms were large and stocked with plenty of amenities.

Best hotel for couples

I love this property. The rooms are spacious and very clean.

We found our bed very hard. However this is our 6th stay at this hotel and a hard bed is not always the case. It might have been this particular room.

A little slice of paradise

We absolutely loved the location. The staff were so welcoming and kind. They complimentary upgraded our room to a jacuzzi suite. It was a wonderful surprise and now I don't think we would book anything less. We even added an extra day because it was so great. The restaurant downstairs was also exceptional.

The bed is like sleeping on a slab. It is a very hard mattress.

An absolute gem, the Sterling Inn provides calm relaxation and amazing food.

The Sterling Inn is absolutely top notch- from front desk personnel, to the wonderful room attendants, the cleanliness of the rooms, the delicious breakfast in bed and the genuinely cozy, peaceful hotel itself. In a market (Niagara) that gouges visitors with ridiculous pricing and parking fees~ The Sterling Inn is an absolute oasis, and just slightly off the beaten path. This is our second visit to the Sterling Inn, and certainly will not be our last. Thank you to all staff, and management, please don’t change your charm Sterling : )

anniversary getaway

The Sterling Inn & spa provided the perfect romantic atmosphere to celebrate our wedding anniversary. Our suite was spacious, clean and quiet. The king size bed was comfortable and the gas fireplace added to the ambiance. The bed was beautifully decorated with rose petals, tea lights and swan towels. The bathroom was over the top with a beautiful glass sink, spa style shower and jet tub. Our compliments to the inn for providing luxurious amenities such as robes, slippers, and even a bath bomb. The Inn has ample parking. It's within walking distance to Clifton Hill and the falls.

A kitchenette would have been a definite bonus. The suite had a wet bar but no microwave.

Amazing stay for couples, rooms were spacious and romantic, bathroom was nice, worth it at the right price

Huge rooms, steam shower was 100% worth it, firm bed (great for my back), water/coffee bar at entrance is a nice touch, great restaurant and spa on site

Off the beaten path, pulled up and drug addicts were the first thing we encountered at the entrance, no view (kept shades closed entire time)

Perfect Romantic Honeymoon

We loved our stay at the Sterling Inn and Spa! The room was so perfect for our romantic honeymoon. The fireplace, the steam shower, the jacuzzi, the bed with the rose petals and tea light candles. My husband and I loved the location as well. It was close enough to walk to Clifton Hill but far enough to enjoy the quietness! Everyone was so accommodating the staff and people at the front desk. We will be back!

Exceeded my expectations for comfort, cleanliness and congenial staff!

The rooms exceeded our expectations as to size and they also included a fireplace, robes and sandals and a steam shower which I really enjoyed.

I like it all although since it is a resort type property there was an $18 parking charge. It is within walking distance of the falls so I did not have to move to a closer parking lot to access the falls.

I absolutely loved my stay at the Sterling Inn & Spa! The room was spotless, and the bed was unbelievably comfortable — I had one of the best nights of sleep ever. The room was fabulous. Lots of space. Husband could watch tv in the other room! The bed was very comfortable and the breakfasts were delicious. It was quiet at night so we both slept well, yet close enough to walk easily to the falls and the restaurants.

This is my second stay, both times I was pleasantly surprised by the large room and the jacuzzi tub. The king bed is very comfortable and the breakfast is lovely. I love the fact that there is no tired carpeting but rather a clean laminate floor. The location is great for those visiting Clifton Hill and the falls.

I don't like being on the ground floor as this does not allow for much of a view but this was expected since the motel is not a high rise. Some proper mugs/glasses would also be good. The plastic seems wasteful and not appropriate for enjoying Niagara's wines!

Super Stay

Julia at check in was exceptional. She helped me from the moment I entered the foyer, as she had her eye on everything and how to make the stay optimal. I was early, Julia was able to find me an upgraded room with whirlpool. The room made all the difference in my stay and encouraged me to return. I had almost cancelled when plans changed a bit.

The location was excellent. The rooms were clean . The jacuzzi tub and steam shower were fabulous. Stayed in a lot of hotels. Never had a breakfast like this. Love the complimentary water in the room. And option to buy beer in room.
