The bathroom had mold in the bathtub and the front desk could not give me a new room. The beds were uncomfortable much further to downtown Chicago than advertised. Will not be back.

I thought most of the staff members were nice, especially one young lady at the check in desk name Dee, she was very professional and nice.

The location was really convenient for where we needed to be. The beds were really comfortable, so it was easy to fall asleep. I think the pillows were not all the same, so that was good. I liked that there was a door between the living room & bedroom.

The lights in the rooms are on motion sensors that don't have a clear way to turn them off. It was less than fun to have most of the lights turn on when I went to the bathroom. Luckily, I had duct tape with me so I covered the sensors. Despite the email I got ahead of my stay, the pool was NOT available. It wasn't the end of the world, but it would have been nice to have. When we returned to our room after being out for the day, none of the keys worked for our two rooms. The front desk was able to fix it quickly, but it was still annoying. The biggest downer was that the vent or whatever for the air conditioner leaked & it was right over the bathroom sink. When we arrived there was a piece of towel in the sink catching the rusty water. Given that it was 90+ outside, not using the air wasn't an option. So whenever we used the sink, we had to do our best to avoid the gross, dripping water.

There pool doesn’t open until July 15th wasn’t told when booked this room they also don’t believe giving refund back for nights of not staying or dissatisfied customer will not ever book a room here.

That there were cameras everywhere

The lights in the room kept coming on because any movement it detected triggered the lights. Even when lying in bed.

The cleanliness overall, room very spacious, I loved the layout and the extra privacy of the bedroom.

Location

The pool was closed, although it had been advertised in messaging from the hotel staff twice. When I asked to cancel the reservation due to the change in availability of the pool, I was told no.

The breakfast was good.

Room was moldy, and dirty. Looked worn, and rundown.

Comfy bed, apartment like rooms and nice smell in the hotel. Good breakfast selections!

The lighting can be little dark for our liking but no deal breaker!

Staff and customer service was exceptional. My room was clean and had what I needed for a nightly stay. Location was good too.

Breakfast was excellent. The hotel was located close but not too close to what I wanted to do in the area. Plenty of room to relax in the room.

The caulking around bathtub had black mold. No other issues.

Dirty, couch was stained, door to room had a large space between the wall and itself. Did not feel safe. Bathtub had hairs in it. Shower head was full of calcium build up and the head was coming out of the wall. Pool water was so cloudy you could not see the bottom, did not feel comfortable letting my kids swim in it.

Room was filthy. Mold on bathroom ceiling, hair and dirt caked into every corner of the bathroom. Hair all over inside of bathtub. Pull out bed was full of food crumbs and dead bugs, there were large stains all over carpet. Pull out couch was full of stains and dirty, completely unusable. Room was incredibly dirty and disgusting for the price that we paid to stay there for one night. There was also an odor throught out the room and entire hotel.

The staff/breakfast is awesome!

When another room flushed their toilets it was way too loud in my room it was consistent. The elevators are extremely slow.

The room was cleanliness the path room was dirty and not clean and no shampoo the floor was dirty it's seems to me the staff just walked in and out without cleaning anything trouble with A/C lack of customer service when I called and asked for shampoo in the front desk they said tomorrow and they handle me small bottles for the whole family, the room so noisy because of the windows they don't close good I will never come back to this hotel it was a very bad experience and the charge too much.

1 our of our 2 key cards didn't work. When I booked the room I put for 2 adults and 2 children with their ages and it didn't show up on my reservations so I was immediately told next time I would be charged so much for not having that Information like my young children were going to be an issue. My kids were so excited a out the pool and check in time isn't till 3 so we didn't arrive till after 5 and I was told the pool was only open till 8pm so by the time we were settled and ready my kids could not swim. One of the reasons I booked the room and the poo was in the basement. We were told no smoking in hotel and we took the stairs down from our room and it reeked of cigarette smoke. The day we got in there was a huge big black spider crawling on the wall that my husband had to take care of. Our door would not close all the way and it had the biggest opening that light shined through at night and everytime we mo Ed or pulled our sheets the lights would automatically turn on in the middle of the Night. Before we checked out Sunday I tool my girls down to the pool and it was just a bunch of kids playing rap music and my daughter felt so uncomfortable she wanted to leave. Also the second bed we had in our room had the most awful smell I had to have my kids sleep on the pull out couch. I am not sure what it was but I could not let my kids sleep on a bed like that. I chose this hotel because I stayed with you without my family about a year prior and it was nice and perfect location and that's why I chose this hotel again. For the mo ey and what I my family and I experienced I will not Recommend and stay with Comfort Suites again. I don't normally write reviews or comments but I was very disappointed and for the amount of time I booked ahead for a holiday weekend and I feel I just threw my money away for the overnight stay we had.

Customer service was friendly.

Lots of noise in the adjacent rooms with kids running door to door pranking other guests. Kids overcrowding the pool area splashing water on other guests as well. Room wasn't tidy and sofa bed matress was really worn. We did make a complaint request to the front desk. Would love to stay again, but would like to feel like I got my money's worth as well. Thank you.
