Comfortable but needs updating their televisions
Location is excellent and very kind staff. Food was very good too!
Televisions did not work in our suite and the bed did not face the view of the mountains so its not worth the extra charge.

Great location but service was not great
The location is perfect, right in the middle of Boulder. The valet staff were wonderful. The cost to valet is on top of the daily hotel rate.
The rest of the staff left a lot to be desired for the price you pay for this 4 star hotel. When we arrived and dropped the car off with the valet, there was a wedding inside right on the main staircase. The person inside who we were told is the sales manager of the hotel shut the doors in our face while letting other people who were attending the wedding go inside. We were left with our luggage between the two sets of entrance doors. Thankfully, the valet advised that we can absolutely go inside and walked us to the front desk. The front desk staff were fine but generally avoided eye contact. We got take out food and asked the restaurant staff for real plates and silver ware so that we can eat a proper meal in our room, only to be provided the same plastic plates and forks because “they were changing from room service to carry out” even though we saw real plates sitting right in front of us.

Historic to describe “north wing” means 1980s Reagan era.
I don’t write reviews, but Yikes - this is worthy of my first bad review. It’s more of a warning. Hope to save one of you.
The main building is great. Historic. The location is awesome. Walk for days.
However, If they tell you to cross the “sky bridge” into “the north wing”, run. It’s an entirely separate building that has the feel of a 90s days inn/comfort inn. Nothing “Victorian” era about it. The carpet looks like it’s from the 90s too. Disgusting. Not sure how they get away with classifying this building as “historic” or “wing”. It’s a building from the 1980’s or 90’s. Clearly not there when main hotel was built. You will find no picture of the exterior of this building in their advertising.
If you have the privilege of staying in room 137, run. Above you you’ll hear stomping late at night and early in the morning. Below you you will hear cars pulling in and out of a parking garages At first I thought it was a guest above us, but when I went up to confront discovered it is a utility closet/ storage room for the staff. It’s not their fault so I did not confront, but 137 shouldn’t be a guest room.
Also, be prepared. Your booking cost here on booking.com will not match the price the hotel will give you on checkout. There will be hidden taxes/fees not disclosed here. Including lodging taxes for the dog! Not worth half of the 708 dollars I spent for 2 nights.

Clean, comfortable, convenient in wonderful walkable downtown Boulder
Great location in the heart of Boulder, spacious well-appointed room & comfortable bed
The north wing is a little shabby and not easily accessible from the main lobby. And nobody loves a view of the rubbish dumpsters.

Overall a very nice place to stay when visiting boulder. Superb staff who are all very friendly.
The staff were phenomenal. Made me feel very welcome as someone from the UK who’s never been to Boulder.
The propert felt a little dated in the bedrooms and bathroom.

One of my favorite hotels we’ve ever stayed at!
Amazing hotel in a sweet spot in town. The bar downstairs is sick, it’s like a rabbit’s warren with so much character and history.
Aircon is a bit noisy but that’s being super picky

They should have done more to compensate for the bed bug infestation

I was in Room 449 which has a patio looking onto the mountains. I was there for a Conference and entire facility and meals were great!
A/C was a bit noisy in the room when trying to sleep

Phish shows over the 4th of July weekend. Offered close proximity to Folsom Field and clean comfortable rooms.
Location close to pearl st and most everything the town of boulder has to offer. Corner Bar and License 1 were lively places with good food and drinks.
A little pricey but was 4th of July week.

Overtaken by parking
Very comfortable beds
The parking situation is ridiculous. Constantly having to try to find street parking and paying the fees. It was exhausting and honestly took so much time it detracted from the overall stay. The hotel needs to figure out parking for its guests.

We had a great time in Boulder and never left the Hotel Boulderado!
It is beautiful, so many of the historic original pieces! The restaurants were great, the best service I can remember in a long time, even when our group kept growing the wait staff just rolled with it separate checks and all.
It’s just a little challenging to get across the sky bridge to the other rooms, but we chalked it up to historic buildings. My husband is handicapped and I think we could request the main building.

It was fine
The location was amazing, and the building is amazing. Bed is comfy
If you are taller then 5.6 the shower is not for you.
My husband is 6.2 and couldn’t fit in the shower.
It didn’t feel like a 4star hotel to be honest. You pay for the location and that’s it honestly.
Idk if I would stay again

Perfect, kind of sums it up.
The historic ambience
There was no complimentary coffee or tea in the lobby; that would have been nice.

Perfect place to stay to explore Boulder
We were pleasantly surprised by how charming the hotel was and the friendly staff. Our room was quiet with comfortable beds and very clean. Bathroom was spacious and the shower was amazing. We also enjoyed breakfast and dinner at the Spruce restaurant, food was delicious and we were especially delighted to have Brooklynn as our waitress - she was extremely efficient and a pleasure. The Comedy show was a treat, very reasonably priced and a lot of fun. Location overall was perfect. I highly recommend the Boulderado.
I wish the wifi was faster.
7.0 / 10.0
Convenient location but disappointing facilities.
The ceiling in the lobby was impressive. The hotel has an old-fashioned feel. It’s located right near the Pearl Street Mall.
However, the room was small and located in the North Wing, which required 2 elevators and a walk to get to. The staff was just okay, not as responsive as they should have been. It would have been nice, for example, for the bellmen to help with the luggage from the curbside rather than offer assistance once inside the foyer. I was surprised to arrive at 3:51 pm, and told my room wasn’t ready and had to wait.

Everything about this historic hotel was wonderful. Beautiful, large room. Fresh flowers and chocolates were an unexpected surprise. Restaurants were good. Two sinks - one inside bathroom - another one in room was great.
