We had a "lake" view room but had to come to the window and look to the left to find the lake view!! The room we got had the most ancient AC/Heating system, which was probably the most annoying part of the room. However, we loved the location and having a private beach. Hooded Merganser Restaurant nearby was amazing, cuz the Resort's own restaurant wasn't great and the service was poor. We'd probably stay here again if we come back to Penticton, but maybe we'll ask for one of their newer rooms!

Was a nice stay but just a couple of critiques. Pay for your parking with out letting you k ow until after your stay. Tv never worked. Didn’t get maid service

My recent stay at Penticton Lakeside Resort was disappointing. I was assigned room 444 and found spiderwebs and dead bugs above the bed, plus a musty smell. After complaining, I was moved to room 544 and encountered the same issue, but room 449 was finally clean.
Hot water was inconsistent: mine was lukewarm at 10:30pm, while my husband had much warmer water after midnight. The hotel is quite old and upkeep is lacking, so if you’re booking, be aware cleanliness may be a concern.
