Holiday Inn Express & Suites Vaughan-Southwest by IHG

The hotel is clean & bright--and the rooms are clean and well stocked. The bed is one of the most comfortable beds I have ever slept in!!

At first I was annoyed by the $8 parking fee per night. I heard from many people in the area that car thefts from hotels were not uncommon. In fact, one associate of mine at a separate hotel was the victim of a car theft while we were in Vaughan. At your hotel, security actively patrolled the parking lot in their security vehicle. It was very reassuring. And with all that said, I was happy to pay the $8 parking fee if it were to go to active security patrols in their hotel parking lot.

Nice room in good condition and clean. Staff were helpful.

Pool and hot tub were dirty. Arrived for breakfast at 9am and there was no bacon, no muffins and pancakes from machine were not good. I am sure everything would have been available at 6am but if breakfast is available until 0930 then everything should be available until then.

Loved the Dove products in the bathroom as well as how clean the room was. Also nice to be able to control the temperature in the room for when it got too cold or hot.

There were no vegetarian options when it came to the protein for breakfast. While ideally we would like to see more halal options we would have been okay with at least vegetarian. There were no eggs that did not have meat in them and when asked if there were any other options we were told that the breakfast menu alternates and the regular eggs without meat are severed the next day. This did not feel very inclusive or welcoming to those with different diets.
