Location was great. Handy for our needs.
The lighting in suite with kitchenette we booked was very dim. It really needed a central light. All lights needed to be on, especially on grey days and even then it was dim.

The room and bathroom were clean and spacious. Especially the bathroom - lots of space to move around. The decor was as expected, standard and dated. The room facilities were good; there was a coffee maker, mini-fridge, TV, etc. The staff was nice and accommodating when we asked to be placed away from the hockey team. The technician showed up very quickly to help reset tv that stopped working in the evening.
The hotel does not care much about sustainability. Plastic drinking cups are packed in plastic (for sanitary reasons, I get it), same for the cups placed in the bathroom. Coffee mugs are standard paper/plastic mix. All that could be replaced by washable and reusable glass and porcelain glasses and mugs. There was a terrible stink coming out of the small cupboard between the desk and the mini-fridge. Like if something died or rotted inside.
