Four Points by Sheraton Victoria Gateway

Very helpful. Shout out to Trinity one of their receptionists. She was very helpful she defined our whole stay welcoming, warm and with a big smile. my SUV’s moonroof had a problem the first night it won’t close for the first time and Trinity even offered to help but I know it was overwhelming day for me and I’d rather fix it next day. She offered me bags tapes and scissors instead to temporarily cover the roof. all throughout the stay she is just amazing and helpful. the property itself everyone is very hospitable, as a filipino nurse myself i know you can never go wrong with hiring filipinos. their housekeeping were all smiles after cleaning our room and they cleaned it so well. location wise it is close to tourist spots while far enough to have peace and quiet. 30mins to butchart gardens, 15-20mins to beaches and 20mins to downtown/legislature area. i would stay here the next time i come back. price is not too bad and i had booked for four people. my mom, aunt and grandma. i had the best experience thank you!!!

The staff really made it that much more amazing! From checking in with Nikki at the front desk to having dinner and drinks on the patio. Our server Cass was so friendly and never kept us waiting for anything. Thanks to all of the wonderful staff for making our stay so memorable!

The front desk staff's customer service needs improvement. There are no timings or directions provided about the restaurant/ breakfast, or pleasure activities areas. Furthermore, my room price included breakfast, we waited 10 minutes to be seated, and then we were told it would be a long wait for a server to be available to take our order. We waited another 10 minutes, no sight of the server, so we left - I mentioned this to the front desk, who said she would let the manager know - still waiting for a response, and a credit for having no breakfast!

I chose this hotel because it had an option for breakfast included. When I arrived, I was told that it’s not included but they provide a breakfast voucher for $23. If I order more than that, I have to pay the difference out of pocket. This limitation was not mentioned at the time of booking. When I expressed my concern to the reception guy he said it’s booking.com’s problem not their problem. 1. If there’s an issue, saying “it’s not our problem” is unacceptable. 2. Withholding this information and misleading guests is a very cheap trick. Something you don’t expect from Sheraton.

Not enough toiletries for two people. Long, thick black hair found in bathroom. Brought hair issue up to front desk the next morning and the morning person working there didn't seem all to concerned. That cream soda was unforgiveablely terrible.

Breakfast included was awesome. You get voucher to eat at the restaurant downstairs. The pool, the spa, the sauna and the steamer were perfect.

Pillows are too big.

The cut off time for breakfast was earlier than expected, 10:00, so we missed out (thought it was 10:30).

We could not figure out how to turn down the heat and turn on the A/C by the programmed thermostat. It took two phone calls and at least 45 minutes to get someone to come try to help and they couldn't. The room did not match the online picture. Finally, I don't know why so many hotels, this one included, are so stingy about putting night stands on both sides of the beds.

Wish we had read the reviews before booking this hotel. As soon as we checked in, we found out the key card system was broken. Every time we needed to enter our room, we had to find a staff member to unlock the door for us—very inconvenient. Shortly after we settled in, a cleaning lady opened our door after only a brief knock, which felt intrusive and unprofessional. There was also no clear information provided at the front desk about our stay—no details on check-out time, amenities, or how to get help if needed. Nothing! You either need to find out yourself or ask. We found two spots of old blood stains on the bedsheets. On the morning of the day of check-out, around 8 AM, the cleaning team started talking and making noise in the hallway, making it difficult to rest. Then at arpund 9 AM, a cleaner repeatedly knocked on our door until we opened it,totally ignoring the tag we put on the door handle,  saying they were "just checking." We were honestly shocked by the unprofessional behavior of the cleaning staff. This whole experience really took away from what should have been a relaxing stay.

Construction was constant from 7:00 a.m - 5:00 p..m. As well as 24 hrs Friday night. Building Condos across the street- there was blasting as well. They rent out their roof top patio on weekends so there’s partying all night- guests cannot access roof top patio when there’s private functions.

Situated at the outskirt of Victoria if you like a not so busy and noisy environment
