    Rooms are stuck in the 90's which is nice in a sense , but if your looking for upscale accommodations I wouldnt recommend this place . Also they have off season hours for the pool/ water facilities. Which is a bummer. Water park / water slides didnt open until 230pm . The pool was also closed which was communicated during booking . All in all , family had fun, and well be back for sure.

    We arrived before noon and our room wasn't ready which was understandable we were 4 hours early. Staff were great. Gave great, no rush descriptions of bus lines, shopping and sights. We were allowed to use pool, hot tub while we waited. We chose to go downtown and were given bus passes. The busses are very efficient arriving exactly when posted. When we returned at 4 our rooms were ready. We noticed right away the ash smell from the wood fireplace. A backdraft was causing a light ash smell in the air. We put our luggage in turned the heat up and went shopping. When we returned the heat had not turned on. I called the front desk and in minutes maintenance responded and had the system working after a reset a very light ash film was on the top of the fridge. We didn't let front desk know as it was late and we were getting up early. If we were staying longer I would have asked for the ash smell to be resolved but for our circumstance it was a small inconvenience.

    The photos look great on website but in actual, the units (both rented units) are pretty run down and needs serious refurbishment. Bathroom taps are difficult and hard to manoeuvre. Sofa and seats at dining table needs new upholstery.
