    The hotel was very outdated, rugs in the hallways were old and dirty, the furniture was old, dresser was missing drawers, plastic chairs in the balcony were filthy. Way too much money to pay .

    The location is great. Facility can be improved. Overall, we had a great stay.

    The resort is closed to a campground so it’s typical to see people passing by. Our loft is in front of a mountain that seems so closed. The loft has a kitchen (stove, fridge, sink, and plates etc) so we were able to reheat our food, have tea, cook noodles. There are two queen beds in the loft. And supposed to be a sofa bed or another folding bed. My friend just slept on the sofa for a night. There’s another washroom in the loft. To take a shower, you can use the main washroom. Overall, we like our stay at the resort. It is old yet affordable. And were able to borrow a cork screw at the front desk. Thanks to the friendly staff. The only downside is that we have to park in the basement. I wished our room is closed to the parking lot (just in front of the loft) just like the others. Maybe you can request that. When it comes to the price, it is probably one of the cheapest hotels to stay at Banff. If you are driving, this is an ideal location for budget travellers. For backpackers, you might want to book a hotel closed or at the heart of downtown. Make sure to visit / hike the nearby campground (I camp here ages ago) or visit the hoodos and Tunnel Mountain. Have fun in Banff!

    The photos look great on website but in actual, the units (both rented units) are pretty run down and needs serious refurbishment. Bathroom taps are difficult and hard to manoeuvre. Sofa and seats at dining table needs new upholstery.
