The first thing that jumps out is the pool, which was larger than we anticipated. The house is very spacious and well kitted out.
It is also very well placed to explore. You can't get that far as the roads are very windy, but each day we found something new - beautiful beaches (our favourites were Pinarello and a secluded beach near Fautea).
Getting into the mountains and swimming in the natural pools at Cavu provided a contrast to the sea.
Yes there are mosquitos, but we were ready with spray and other deterrents so this wasn't an issue.
One thing - the track to the villa isn't easy so do take the advice from the owner not to hire a small car. We had no problems and the advantage is the peace and quiet.
