Excellent property in superb location

We enjoyed a wonderful two week stay at this spacious property which is a just a few minutes walk from a vast beach, which was perfect during this pandemic. The garden and decking area are great and we spent many evenings playing badminton and volleyball. We were fortunate that the weather was great-very hot-and made use of the bikes that are kept in the shed. The property is very well equipped and all of the bedrooms are very spacious. Just to note that we had to pay an extra 18 euros for electricity as only a certain amount of electricity is included in the price and any additional is chargeable. Overall we had a fantastic holiday and would not hesitate to return-it would be nice to explore the area more during ‘safer’ times.

The house is very well equipped and ideally located for visiting the beach and the landing beaches. On the days we stayed at the villa, there was plenty of space for the kids to enjoy!

land lord is very nice and helpful. Vila has everything, from children toys till grown-up games. Kitchen is fully equipped with complete cutlery, glasses, dishes and many other equipment’s which can be found in a good kitchen. Vila is 2 min walking distance to the sea. Village is very calm. We drove to Mon-Saint Michele (1-1.5 h) and American cemetery in Ohama beach (1-1.5 h). Vila was very clean. In general my family and I were very pleased and I will consier going to the same place next time we go to Normandy.

"This holiday home exceeded our expectations - the photos on the website don't do it justice! It was spotlessly clean, extremely well equipped and tastefully decorated, with modern furnishings/appliances; very spacious and comfortable (lovely beds, leather sofa/armchairs, large dining table which easily seated all 9 of us, WiFi access and flat screen TV), and also had a fantastic enclosed garden at the back. It was an easy, flat 5 minute walk to the beach, and the village of St Jean de le Riviere was quiet and pleasant yet within easy access of shops/supermarket etc. The owners couldn't have been more helpful and welcoming, both prior to the holiday when we were discussing arrangements by e-mail, and on the day of arrival when they took the time to show us how everything worked in the house. In summary, we would recommend this property very highly - having rented many houses in the UK and in France, this was by far the best."

La maison est spacieuse et lumineuse, très bien équipée, à 5min à pied de la plage. Il y a un jardin et une chambre d'enfants avec des jouets donc c'était très bien pour mon fils. Seul bémol l'électricité à payer à la fin même si ce n'est pas grand chose. Il n'y a que 4kWh prévu par jour ce qui est en fait trop peu pour une grande maison avec 6 personnes sachant qu'on avait mis un peu de chauffage. Au final très bon séjour, je recommande complètement ce gîte.

Der Urlaub in Saint-Jean-de-la-Rivière war wunderbar. Wir haben besonders die Ruhe, die Nähe zum Meer und die tolle Umgebung genossen. Die Übergabe des Hauses lief unkompliziert und freundlich. Beatrice gab uns tolle Tipps für die Gegend. Ich habe noch nie ein Ferienhaus bewertet, aber hier will ich es unbedingt, denn das Haus hat es wirklich verdient - es hat einfach alles was man im Urlaub braucht.

Das Haus hat uns gut gefallen. Wir waren mit Kindern und Enkeln dort (6 Erwachsene,zwei Kleinkinder). Wir hatten ausreichend Platz. Die Kinder hatten viel Platz zum Spielen in dem abgeschlossenen Garten und fanden viele Spielsachen vor. Die Lage zum Strand ist optimal.Das Haus ist zweckmäßig eingerichtet und für die Selbstversorgung ist alles vorhanden. Es waren zwei kurzweilige Wochen.

Wij hebben een heerlijke vakantie gehad in dit huis. Het huis is ruim en van alle gemakken voorzien (wasmachine, vaatwasser, droger, enz.) Het is 250 meter van het strand, dus 4 minuutjes lopen. Verder is de omgeving prachtig. Genoeg te zien! Kortom, wij vinden het echt een aanrader!

Nous avons passé une semaine en famille (2 enfants) et nous avons trouvé dans cette maison tout le confort, des jouets pour les enfants et de bonnes idées de promenades en plus. L'accueil des propriétaires fut très agréable et nous vous conseillons vivement cette adresse, à quelques pas du rivage. Un couple d'amis avec leurs deux enfants est venu passer trois jours avec nous et eux aussi ont été séduits par la location et par la région environnante.

L'accueil est très sympathique et l'accès au rivage à deux pas. Nous avons reçu pendant trois jours un couple d'amis avec leurs deux enfants et eux aussi ont été séduits. Das Haus hat eine tolle Atmosphäre, ist perfekt ausgestattet, sehr gemütlich, sauber... mit einem Wort: perfekt! Wir haben drei tolle Wochen dort verbracht. Den Garten und die wunderschöne Holzterasse haben wir ständig genutzt. Die Betten sind prima und alle Zimmer sind sehr zweckmässig ingerichtet. Prima für Allergiker geeignet, weil nirgndwo Teppichboden liegt. Durch die Nähe zum Strand eignet sich das Haus auch sehr gut für Familie mit Kindern! Die Vermieter, Familie Besnard, sind sehr nett und zuvorkommend. Alles in allem können wir das Haus uneingeschränkt empfehlen!! Familie Deilmann aus Krefeld

Das Haus ist einfach toll! Béatrice und Laurent Besnard sind unglaublich nett. Der email Kontakt war auf Englisch und es lief alles prima! Wir haben uns sofort wohl gefühlt. Es ist alles da, was man braucht. Es hat wirklich nichts gefehlt. Ich kann das Haus nur weiter empfehlen. Es ist schön groß, wir waren mit 5 Erwachsenen und 2 Kindern da. Sogar Spielsachen sind im "Kinderzimmer ". Es gibt nichts zu beanstanden. Es war ein toller Urlaub!

accueil sympathique du propriétaire qui donne de bons conseils sur la région et sa restauration la maison est tout a fait conforme au descriptif et est très confortable .elle est bien placé au calme et a 300m de la plage. les commerces sont proches et propose tout ce qu'il faut nous y avons passé une belle semaine nous nous sommes rendus sur cherbourg(cité de la mer) ,nez de jobourg port racine, utah beach,saint mère église ,barneville carteret et toutes les grandes plages .C'est magnifique et proche de la location. Nous y retournerons car il reste encore beaucoup a voir nous disons a bientot a mr et mme Besnard
