The house was equipped with almost everything you may need during your holiday, In the main house there are 2 bedrooms with own bathroom and near there is another bedroom with bathroom (separate entrance). The view from the terrace is very nice with natural shadow; the house is in a pine forest. There is a pool with sunbeds but during our stay the water was cold. It is perfect for hot summer days. Inside there is a nice living room with sofa and 6 person table.
The area is a little noisy (traffic) but the house is well isolated.

We stayed here for 18 nights in July/August. The villa is very spacious with good outside space too and beautiful views. We loved the pool. Even in August it felt quite fresh because it’s in shade most of the time - which worked for us because we didn’t have to worry about our daughter getting sunburn. The villa is well equipped with kitchen items, games etc. The location is really good, a few minutes walk from bus stop 13 - we didn’t hire a car and that was fine. There is an amazing restaurant a few minutes walk too - Taverna Lia - the food was fabulous and the staff were so welcoming. There are three or four beaches you can walk to from the villa - Kolios, Vromolinos (quite big and busy in high season but fun) plus in the opposite direction a lovely small quiet beach at Taverna Sklithri (gorgeous setting and food) but you have to walk along the main road which is fine but be aware the footpath is minimal so we went for lunch rather than in the evening.
All in all we had a really wonderful break and we were very happy that we booked Villa Pilion for our holiday.
Only a few small niggles - there was no real welcome info in the villa so felt like we were working everything out the first few days which at times was stressful. Eg there is a small mini-mart on the main road which is run by lovely people but it is so expensive and very limited choice. With no-one to ask we had to research online using a Skiathos forum to find out where there was a proper supermarket (bus stops 3 and 1) was the answer.
The villa is lovely but it isn’t modern. We weren’t expecting it to be, but just a warning. The bathrooms and kitchen have been there a long time, but everything works.
