Lovely cozy hotel right in the heart of the Disney village. Perfect for Christmas time!
Buffet dinner was a bit disappointing for the money, fatty meats and not many chicken dishes.

We stayed in the hotel for just one night before starting our Disney holiday the next morning to take advantage of Magic Hours. Reception arranged for our luggage to be transferred the following day to our Golden Forest room, which was a huge help. While it’s not the cheapest place to stay for a single night, the convenience and service made it a great choice for us. It really worked well as a stress-free start to our trip.
The beds in the standard room were not the most comfortable.

It’s simple, cosy and close to the parks. Great pool - much better than the marvel alternative
It is dated but it’s reflected in the price

Room a nice size and very clean. Nice large bathroom
Lovely view out of our window and our lodge was in a pleasant woodland setting ( few minutes walk to main building and restaurants ) A very easy walk to Disneyland
We stayed in the Big Sur Lodge and it doesn’t have a lift for the second level

Location - Fantastic
Hotel its self - Beautiful
Room - Most disappointing and unnerving Disney room I have ever stayed in.
While the hotel is beautiful and is very close to the park, the room we stayed in felt more like a KOA campground than a comfortable room. It looked like a bed had been removed with nothing in its place, there was a single outlet in the bedroom and none in the bathroom. The bed was a full and not a queen. The bathroom had no real shower or bathtub. While I'm not terribly upset because it was just a room to sleep in so we could stay close to the park, I was disappointed with our stay to say the least.

As ever Disney theme their hotels wonderfully. From the moment you arrive you are immersed into a US National Park resort feel. The welcome at check in was warm and efficient, providing all the necessary information around our visit and more.
The hotel had a good boutique style shop, look for the pin board at the checkout if you are a pin trader, some fab pins whilst we were there.
The room was clean & "roomy" for a family of 4 (all now adults!), with daily top ups on toiletries etc.. Location was great, in the main building, with a kettle, coffee machine & fridge. Also there was an ice machine & cold water top up facility.
For the parks, the Sequoia is excellent, with the chance of being in the park within 10 or so minutes (walk).
It has an amazing pool and leisure facility, if you have enough time definitely pack your swimming costumes!
The other element Disney "gets" is that the small touches make a difference, a chocolate on the bed and little story card each day, the fresh pine smell throughout the resort, to bird sounds as you exit the lift area.
Great value for an onsite hotel a little bit closer to the park.
Nothing too much to write here. The view wasn't special, a car park, but we realise that some rooms will always be at the back and we didn't pay for a lake view.
The lifts could get a little busy, but again there were a good number (4), all working, serving our area of the hotel.
Be aware that the shop doesn't open until 8am, it stocks milk for tea/coffee/milk lovers!

The buffet food in the Restaurant was very good (although a bit pricey) and location being a few minutes walk from the Disney parks was excellent.
Maintenance was poor. The carpets across the hotel and in the room were smelly and need to be replaced Z the bathrooms need an overhaul. The hotel can keep its vintage look but does not need to reflect a wear and tear look.
In the restaurant we were charged additional items - and when we pointed it out, no apology was made.

Lower floors were very nicely appointed.
The rooms and rest of the hotel were basicallly a 2 star hotel, hiding behind the illusion of a 4 star hotel. And we’re on the club level.

Great location, attractive property
The AC wasn’t working super well. It was a 90° day so it was having to work overtime.

The beds were very comfortable and the staff was very nice anytime we saw them and the tram was a great perk!
The AC in the room was very loud almost to the point of not being able to sleep, there was hair in the bathtub when we got in the room and the bathroom smelled of old urine. Also no plugs where you need them

This hotel is a true gem! The location strikes the perfect balance – it's peaceful and quiet, yet surprisingly affordable and conveniently close to the Disney parks. The staff were incredibly friendly and always ready with a smile. And the pool? Absolutely fantastic! What truly sets this place apart is the atmosphere; with its lush surroundings, you genuinely feel like you've escaped to a tranquil sequoia forest. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a relaxing and budget-friendly stay near the magic Disneyland! Also a bonus of getting an early access to the Disney fun.
No fridge in the rooms

The swimming pool was the most exciting part
The morning meet and greet was exciting
No themed rooms no exciting games or treasure hunt considering it’s Easter
Nothing exciting happening in the hotel considering it’s a Disney hotel I expected more
Standard room
Our room was so far away from the main hotel long walk to there and then to the parks another 15 mins
Breakfast was 30 euros each anyone over 11 is an adult

The only good thing about this hotel is the proximity to the Disney park.
We did the check in and went into a very basic room (think an Ibis for 3 times the price) that had a couple of opened water bottles and a toilet paper roll that was dirty. I’ve included pictures of both as it was shocking… that’s how we found a 600€ per night room!

The rooms was very large. It was such an easy walk to the station and Disney park. The breakfast at Golden Forest was exceptional. The team at the dedicated desk was very helpful with information during check out
The hotel should have an online form for checking in. It took us more than 20 mins to get that done, including waiting for an earlier family to finish checking in.

the room was clean
the dinner was very good
the location was very good
some of the staff were very friendly and helpful but some not.
there was a confusion concerning the tables during one of the dinners
the waiters had given our table to others as well after we were given the table and they asked us to move
I refused to move and kindly asked to relocate the ones that came afterwards, which was the logical thing to do
then i went to the toilet and the other customer was not informed and came to the table, he found my grandson 9y old and he assumed that he can tell the child to go away. this was unacceptable and equivalent to child abuse. I asked the waiter to show me who was this person but she didn't. I decided not the extend the argument for the child's sake. I think that the some of the staff needs more training. Additionally I asked how I can go to the Eifel Tower and I was told that the simple way is to take a taxi. I found out alone that I could take the subway and go to the CDG etoile at very low cost and quickly.
Another thing was that the house keeping entered the room without knocking at the door first and found my son bathing. When he finished he informed them that the room is empty for cleaning but they refused to do so. Then he complained at the Reception for this and the room was cleaned.

On site Disney hotel. Fantastic swimming pool. Beds were super comfortable and spacious enough room for a family of 4. Golden forest lounge was fantastic. Good breakfast. would recommend for a visit to Disney.
Air con was poor. only worked on our third night due to a fault. when it worked it was good but noisy.

Some of the staff (not all) were rude and unhelpful.

The location is amazing and the Woodland/Forest theme is really well done. The rooms were really clean and the beds were comfortable. Plenty of space for a family of four.
it could do with a way out of the hotel at the rear for walking to the parks with buggies. there is an accessible elevator that is really
small and hard to fit a double pushchair on and as it’s a family hotel there are numerous people waiting to use this one singular elevator. A walkway/ramp at the rear of the hotel would help this massively.
5.0 / 10.0
Rooms very basic for Disney hotel could do with more of a family approach, more for kids to do kids corner was very bad little part of hotel not much or room for kids. For the value of hotel definitely would not pay for again as it was expensive and food also
Not much in hotel for kids, kids corner very bad you’d fit about 4 kids in nothing in it. Food also very good expensive for value of hotel wasn’t much in it for kids.

Location is fantastic Loved everything about the hotel. Theming is of bambi so woodland which is amazing but may not be to everyone's taste as decor is dark.

The environment, the friendliness of the staff, and the bedroom had lots of space.
Could consider remodel some of the infrastructure, some parts look "old"-ish. But did not impact at all the wonderful experience
