Welcome to The Evergreen, a luxury mirror cabin for two at Uncommon Accommodations at Smugglers’ Notch, our boutique collection of architecturally distinctive cabins nestled along the Brewster River in Vermont’s Green Mountains.
Tucked into a grove of towering hemlocks on a sweeping bend of the river, The Evergreen offers an extraordinary perspective on the natural world. Wake up in your queen bed to floor-to-ceiling glass framing the Brewster River as it curves toward you, creating the mesmerizing sensation that the water is flowing directly toward your cabin.
The mirrored exterior reflects the surrounding forest, allowing the architecture to blend into the landscape, while the warm, thoughtfully designed interior offers a luxurious retreat in every season.
YOUR PRIVATE CABIN
The Evergreen is a completely private, self-contained cabin featuring a luxury queen bed with premium bedding, radiant heated floors throughout, heating and air conditioning, a full private bathroom, a well-equipped kitchenette, dining space for two, high-speed WiFi, a laptop workspace and a ceiling-mounted projector for streaming movies and shows.
Step outside onto your private deck to enjoy the sights and sounds of the river and surrounding hemlocks. Dedicated parking is conveniently located nearby.
THE UNCOMMON ACCOMMODATIONS EXPERIENCE
The Evergreen is one of several individual mirror cabins sharing the beautiful grounds and resort-style amenities of Uncommon Accommodations at Smugglers’ Notch.
Your cabin and private deck are exclusively yours, while the riverside hot tub, barrel sauna, cold plunge, outdoor shower, firepit, stargazing lounge, hammock grove and outdoor gathering spaces are shared with a small number of fellow guests.
Explore the trails along the Brewster River, or cross the property's suspension bridge to discover the other side of our riverside retreat.
Guests also enjoy access to The Outpost, our central guest hub offering complimentary laundry facilities and adventure-planning resources, and The Gear Shed, featuring secure ski and bike storage and a premium gear dryer for boots, gloves and other outdoor equipment.
Together, these amenities create the experience of an intimate mountain resort while preserving the privacy and comfort of your own cabin.

Uncommon Accommodations is conveniently located just off Notch Road, minutes from Smugglers’ Notch Resort and the charming village of Jeffersonville.
Smugglers’ Notch Resort offers skiing, snowboarding, mountain biking and year-round recreation. The surrounding Green Mountains are filled with hiking trails, waterfalls, swimming holes, scenic drives and spectacular fall foliage.
Lot 6 Brewing and Full Send Pizza are right next door and within easy walking distance, making it easy to enjoy local craft beer and pizza without getting back in the car.
Jeffersonville is just a few minutes away for cafés, restaurants, shops and everyday essentials. Stowe and Mount Mansfield offer even more opportunities for mountain adventures, dining and exploring northern Vermont.
Whether you're here for skiing, hiking, fall foliage or simply a peaceful escape into nature, The Evergreen makes a beautiful home base.
GOOD TO KNOW
Uncommon Accommodations is a collection of private cabins on shared grounds, rather than an isolated single-cabin rental. You may encounter other guests enjoying the spa amenities, trails and outdoor gathering spaces. Please respect neighboring cabins and decks, as well as areas marked private or staff only.
Our property is surrounded by nature, and seasonal conditions may include wildlife, insects, mud, snow and ice. Please use caution around the Brewster River, where water levels and currents can change with weather and snowmelt. Occasional traffic noise may be heard from nearby Notch Road.
A car is recommended, as public transportation and rideshare services are limited. During winter, snow tires are strongly recommended, and AWD or 4WD can be helpful. Route 108 through Smugglers’ Notch toward Stowe closes seasonally, requiring a longer alternate route.
The Evergreen accommodates a maximum of two guests. Pets, smoking, vaping, parties and events are not permitted.
