Welcome to Safe and Sound, a beautiful 5-bedroom soundfront retreat in Corolla Light Resort. Enjoy spectacular sunsets over the Currituck Sound, your own private pool and hot tub, and easy beach days with seasonal trolley service. Resort amenities include oceanfront pools, sports center, tennis, pickleball, basketball and more. With spacious gathering areas and room for up to 12, it’s the perfect setting for an unforgettable Outer Banks family vacation.

With sweeping Currituck Sound views, spectacular sunsets, a private pool and hot tub, and access to exceptional resort amenities, this home has everything you need for a memorable Outer Banks getaway.
The reverse floor plan makes the most of the waterfront setting, with spacious gathering areas, three king ensuites, a queen bedroom and a bunk room. There's plenty of room for families to come together, spread out and enjoy vacation at their own pace.
Ground Level
Let the fun begin in the game room with a pool table, wet bar, beverage cooler and easy access to the private pool. A half bath and laundry area add convenience.
First Landing
A king ensuite with sound views and private deck access offers a peaceful retreat.
Second Level
A king ensuite, queen bedroom and two bunk beds. The queen and bunk rooms share a full hallway bathroom. All three bedrooms offer sound views and deck access.

The heart of the home! Gather in the open living and dining areas, prepare meals in the kitchen, or settle into the bright sunroom with your morning coffee. Step onto the waterfront terrace for spectacular sunsets over the Currituck Sound.
Beach Days & Corolla Light Resort
Enjoy the best of both sides of Corolla! Start your morning with a walk or bike ride along the mile-plus soundfront trail, spend the afternoon at the beach, and return home for sunset.
Beach access is conveniently located across from the Austin Street cul-de-sac. Walk, ride one of the bikes provided, or take advantage of Corolla Light's seasonal trolley service.
Your stay provides access to an incredible collection of resort amenities:
Oceanfront pools, soundfront pool and playground, tennis, pickleball, basketball, volleyball and grass mini-golf. A 36,000-square-foot Sports Center with an indoor heated pool, fitness center, spa and indoor courts. Soundfront walking trail, fishing and crabbing piers, and kayak and paddleboard launch areas
Resort wristbands and guest information are available for pickup at the Sports Center. We'll share the details before your arrival.
For effortless beach days, optional chair and umbrella setup packages are available through Corolla Light Beach Rentals.
Enjoy lunch or poolside service at Oceanfront Grille, located at the resort's Oceanfront Complex. The restaurant also welcomes the public for dinner with beautiful ocean views.

Age & Occupancy: The primary renter must be at least 30 years old and stay at the home throughout the reservation. Safe and Sound welcomes up to 12 registered guests. In keeping with Corolla Light HOA guidelines, the home and resort amenities are reserved for guests included in your reservation. Parties and events are not permitted.
Waterfront & Pool: Our beautiful soundfront setting and private pool are part of what makes Safe and Sound so special! We ask that guests keep a close eye on children when enjoying the outdoor spaces, particularly near the pool and waterfront. The private pool is open May–September, and the hot tub is available year-round.
Pets & Smoking: Safe and Sound is a pet-free, smoke-free property. Smoking and vaping are not permitted. Unauthorized pets may result in a $500 fee, additional cleaning or damage charges, and termination of the rental without refund.
Parking: Five parking passes are provided for your stay. Corolla Light HOA guidelines require a pass for each vehicle and do not permit additional vehicles or street parking.
Things to Bring: We provide starter toilet paper, paper towels, dish soap and dishwasher detergent to help you settle in. Please bring your family's preferred toiletries and personal care items. You're welcome to use any pantry or household items left by previous guests.
Linens & Beach Towels: Bed linens, bath towels. Beach towels are provided, however, feel free to bring your preferred beach towels/blankets if you'd like to. Corolla Light HOA guidelines also ask that towels NOT be hung over deck railings.
Entertainment: Enjoy Spectrum cable and popular streaming apps on the Apple TVs in the living area and game room. You're welcome to sign into your own streaming accounts; just remember to sign out before departure. The main living area also features a Sonos sound system for guests with a Sonos account.
