Formerly one of Tepoztlán's most popular boutique hotels, Villa del Tepoz Fuego is a spacious and private house to enjoy with family and friends, or for retreats. The property is located in the town, a 20-minute walk from the centre (5 minutes by car). Everyone can go out to eat or explore and then walk back, without cars, to the tranquillity of the mountains.

The main house has seven double bedrooms (four on the ground floor and three on the first floor), all with a queen or king-size bed. The master bedroom, on a raised, separate level, has a fireplace, an en-suite bathroom with a whirlpool bath, and a double balcony with a panoramic view. Three of the rooms also have double sofa-beds, and are great for staying together with children.

Swimming pool with solar heating, and a boiler as back-up. The boiler also heats the jacuzzi. The garden features a barbecue, a covered dining area and an outdoor lounge with a fireplace.

There is a spacious, well-equipped kitchen with an adjoining pantry, an indoor lounge with a TV, including a formal dining area. Wi-Fi extends throughout the property, and there is an office behind the kitchen with two desks where you can work.

On the ground floor of "La Casita" - a separate building behind the garden - there is a covered patio with an outdoor lounge area/yoga space, a bar and a table tennis table, two bedrooms, each with two single beds, shared bathrooms and a games room with a table football, which also serves as a massage room.

A generator automatically kicks in during any power cut, and the purification systems mean that tap water can be drunk in the main house and in the cottage. The private car park has space for six cars (plus one behind the house if needed) and a laundry area with a washing machine and dryer, available for stays of three nights or more.

For security, there is an on-site caretaker, private gated parking and outdoor security cameras. The caretaker, Alejandro, is here to take care of all your needs.

The booking price is for up to 20 people.

We don't allow parties, and noise must be kept down after 10:00 p.m. in accordance with village rules.

Small pets are allowed with prior approval. Please let us know about any pets you wish to bring before confirming your booking. We reserve the right to refuse access to pets that have not been approved in advance.

There is no charge for heating the hot tub with the boiler or for solar heating of the pool. If you want to further increase the pool temperature using the boiler, there is a charge of up to 500 pesos per day (up to 200 pesos per hour).
