Great family neighborhood, close to schools and amenities. The atmosphere there is very welcoming, and people of all ages and lifestyles can feel at home there. Orleans is a new part of the city, in that it only became part of Ottawa in 2001. It's located just off of the Ottawa River, just a few miles east of the downtown core.
There are a number of schools there, and the population continues to rise. The shopping center just off the Queensway is one of the most central and significant landmarks in the Orleans area, and part of what make it such a good place for singles, families, and retirees. Lots of restaurants and shopping in the area.
Close to transit and minutes away from the 417 highway
