THE HOME
This is a charming 1940s Norman home, close to downtown and OU, full of character you just don't get with new construction. It's been thoughtfully updated with modern comforts while preserving its original charm. We provide robes in each bedroom, plus coffee, sugar, creamer and basic cooking spices. The kitchen has a dishwasher, and laundry and dishwashing pods are provided.
GOOD TO KNOW
• Original charm: Floors are original and, while well-maintained, may feel slightly drafty at times. New heating and cooling keep things comfortable year-round, and any one remote controls all the AC units.
• Shower: Classic two-handle design – one handle for hot, one for cold. Pressure is excellent on its own but may dip slightly if the washer and dishwasher are running at the same time.
• Neighborhood: Quiet, established community with many long-term neighbors.
• Parking: The driveway is long and narrow, typical for the era, with plenty of street parking too. Please don't park in the yard.
• Steps: There are original steps at both the front and back entrances (not ADA-friendly).
• Pets: We love furry guests! Please vacuum pet hair, pick up after your pets in the yard, and leave the home tidy for the next guests.
• Security: There is an exterior security camera on the property.
I live nearby and I'm just a message away. I love giving guests their space, but if anything comes up I can be at the house quickly.
