About this cabin rental
Mallard Woods is an 11 acre property nestled among a small neighborhood that is home to two cozy little cabins. Just 10 minutes from Grand Rapids, Coleraine, and Cohasset, you're close to everything while feeling tucked away from it all.
The cabin feels very private and has it's own outdoor area, including a spacious screen porch, fire pit, sauna, and outdoor shower.
Inside you'll find everything you need, from a fully stocked kitchen to 100% cotton linens to natural soaps and amenities. Expansive windows fill the cabin with natural light. The bedroom is designed to be super comfortable for two people with space to tuck your things, wall hooks, and a built in wardrobe and desk. For friends or small families, the high quality sleeper sofa transforms the living area into an extra sleeping space.
Lighting and furnishing includes pieces by MN companies Dutton Brown, Blu Dot, Room & Board, and Loll Designs. The sauna is crafted by from native White Cedar timbers. When we had to look beyond MN, we selected companies invested in making healthy, sustainable products- such as Richlite Duxton Windows, and Suite Sleep Mattresses.
The two cabins are rented separately, so if you rent only one you can may see other guests out and about. If you have a larger group and are looking for more space, inquire about our sister property, Mallard Point, that has three cabins located on the nearby lake, a short two minute walk from the Woods.
Guests have access to the 11 acre property. Each of the two cabins has a private sauna, fire pit, and outdoor area, but the rest of the outdoor areas are shared.

Local attractions nearby include trails, public boat launches, state forests and the cultural/tourist amenities of Grand Rapids (museums, shops, dining). An abundance of recreational opportunities at your doorstep.
Driving is the primary way to get around. Grand Rapids, Coleraine, and Cohasset are roughly 10 minutes by car and have all the amenities you need.
