Three of the five bedrooms are themed, and the children tend to choose theirs before the suitcases come out of the car: one wallpapered in Mickey comic strips, one with exposed brick walls and Hogwarts artwork, one with a canopy bed under a crystal chandelier. The living room opens straight onto the screened private pool, so the afternoon swim happens without leaving the house, and the pool deck has loungers and a table for dinner outdoors after a park day. The open kitchen with its breakfast bar and the dining table for eight keep everyone in the same room at mealtimes, the washer and dryer let you pack light, and a high chair and a pack and play are already here for the youngest travelers.

Storey Lake is a gated community with 24-hour access and two clubhouses. The resort pool has a lazy river and a water slide, with a splash area for small children and a tiki bar for the afternoons nobody wants to drive anywhere. Kayaks on the lake, a fitness center and basketball and volleyball courts fill the in-between days, and mini golf is available on site for an additional fee.

Storey Lake is a gated resort community in Kissimmee with 24-hour access, and it sits closer to Disney than most of the large communities on the US-192 East corridor. The Disney parks are 12 to 18 minutes by car, Universal Orlando 20 to 30 minutes, and Orlando International Airport (MCO) 20 to 25 minutes. A Walmart is 6 to 10 minutes away for groceries, and the Vineland Premium Outlets are 10 to 15 minutes. The streets are quiet and residential, with families walking to the clubhouses.
The community connects to the US-192 East corridor, which puts the Disney parks, Universal, SeaWorld, the outlets and the supermarkets within a short drive. Free parking is available at the house for more than one vehicle. A rental car is the usual choice for park days; rideshare services also cover the whole area for guests who prefer not to drive.
