About this house rental
Enjoy the ultimate Devon coastal escape in a quiet, stylish hideaway just a short stroll from beautiful Babbacombe Downs with local pubs and restaurants. Complete with free parking and a private courtyard garden, it’s the perfect dog-friendly base for families or couples. Nearby is the South West Coast Path plus Oddicombe Beach which is dog friendly from 1st October to 1st May.
Short level walk to bus stop, cafes & shops. Remote working - full fibre broadband, discount on weekly & monthly stays.
The space
Bedroom 1 overlooking the rear garden has a king size bed with 100% cotton sheets. South facing room with plenty of built in hanging wardrobe space and storage.
Smart TV with Freeview channels. Hairdryer.
Bedroom 2 has two single beds with 100% cotton sheets. Bedside table. Smart TV with Freeview channels. Built in wardrobes with hanging space. Iron and ironing board.
Baby travel cot. Mattress 120cm x 60cm. Please bring your own baby bedding.
Shower room with shower cubicle with rain shower and separate shower head. Heated towel rail. WC. Sink unit with storage. Illuminated mirror.
If an extra sleeping area is needed, in the spacious lounge diner there is a new pull out sofa bed. Velvet full length curtains block the light from the conservatory, to make a cozy bedroom.

Dual aspect dining area with table and chairs for 4 guests. Baby high chair.
South facing conservatory overlooking the private courtyard garden which is fully fenced.

Private off road parking to the side of the house for one car. The space may not suit longer cars as it narrows at the rear. Unrestricted parking on York Road for larger or extra cars.
Residents Visitor Parking to the rear of the house. Please park in available space marked ‘V.’
There is a height restriction to access the visitor’s parking so may not be suitable for larger vans or cars with a roof rack.
100 yards level walk to the bus stop taking you down to Torquay Marina with its lovely harbour, cafes, bars, restaurants and shops. Boat trips to Brixham and Dartmouth.
Torquay Golf Club 0.5 miles.
Dartmoor 20 miles.

The entire house is available for guest use.
Other things to note
Please keep dogs off the beds and sofa so they remain clean for the comfort of our human guests!
If you would like to use the Visitor parking at the rear of the house, the entrance is immediately as you turn in to York Road. Please park in any available space, marked with a ‘V.’
There is a height restriction on the entrance to the rear car park.
When parking in the dedicated bay adjacent to the house, please drive slowly to allow for the drop curb.
For Your Safety:
There is a heat detector in the kitchen and a fire blanket in the drawer under the hob.
There is also a fire extinguisher located next to the front door.
In case of a fire, please use the front door, no key needed to exit the property. Alternatively please use the patio door to exit the conservatory into the garden.
Please don’t leave your dog unattended for long periods in the house. They can become anxious in a strange house. Please bring your own dog towels and dog bedding.
