About this cottage rental
Nestled in the picturesque hamlet of Hamptworth, on the edge of the beautiful New Forest and just moments from the renowned Hamptworth Golf & Country Club, Home Farm's beautifully restored barns offer a truly idyllic countryside retreat. Thoughtfully converted into five individual cottages, each property blends contemporary comfort with luxurious touches, creating stylish accommodation in a peaceful rural setting.
With elegant interiors, spacious open-plan living, a welcoming shared courtyard and ample parking, Home Farm is perfectly placed for guests seeking relaxation, outdoor adventure, or a little of both. Surrounded by stunning countryside yet within easy reach of Salisbury, Romsey and Fordingbridge, it offers the best of country living in a special setting.
Step inside Fern Cottage and discover a bright, airy space designed for spending quality time together. The open-plan living area combines comfort and style, featuring vaulted ceilings, attractive wood-effect flooring and striking pendant lighting. The well-equipped kitchen showcases shaker-style cabinetry in a soft sage hue, integrated appliances and generous worktop space, while the inviting sitting area provides plenty of comfortable seating for relaxing after a day of exploring. A dedicated dining space creates the perfect setting for leisurely breakfasts and memorable evening meals.
The cottage's three beautifully appointed bedrooms combine character and comfort, complete with exposed beams, built-in wardrobes and luxurious linens for a restful night's sleep. The principal bedroom benefits from a private en-suite shower room, while a stylish family shower room serves the remaining bedrooms.
Outside, guests can enjoy the attractive central courtyard, thoughtfully landscaped to create a sociable outdoor living space with comfortable sofas, armchairs and dining tables. It's the perfect place to unwind, enjoy a morning coffee, time with friends, or to simply soak up the tranquillity of rural life.
For those looking to stay active, Hamptworth Golf & Country Club is just a short stroll away, offering golf, padel, pickleball, croquet, and excellent dining options. The popular Cuckoo Inn is also within easy walking or cycling distance, while charming villages, hidden hamlets and the endless scenic beauty of the New Forest await exploration right from your doorstep.
