About this cottage rental
Tucked away in the tranquil surroundings of Home Farm in Hamptworth, Foxglove Cottage offers a charming countryside escape on the edge of the enchanting New Forest. One of five beautifully converted barn cottages, it effortlessly blends rustic character with modern comforts, creating a peaceful haven where guests can slow down, relax and reconnect.
Step inside to discover a beautifully light-filled open-plan living space, where vaulted ceilings, elegant finishes and warm natural tones create an inviting atmosphere from the moment you arrive. The stylish kitchen, complete with sage-coloured shaker cabinetry, integrated appliances and generous work surfaces, is perfectly equipped for preparing anything from lazy breakfasts to romantic suppers. At its heart, a circular dining table provides an intimate setting for long leisurely meals, morning coffees and evenings spent planning the next day's adventures.
The two thoughtfully designed bedrooms offer a restful retreat, featuring exposed beams, sumptuous linens and a calming ambience that encourages a truly restorative night's sleep. A beautifully finished family bathroom with a bath and shower over provides the perfect place to refresh after a day of exploring or to unwind with a long soak before bed.
Outside, the attractive central courtyard offers a delightful shared space in which to savour the simple pleasures of country living. Surrounded by pretty planting and comfortable seating areas, it's the ideal spot for enjoying a morning coffee in the sunshine, a glass of wine beneath the evening sky, or simply soaking up the peace and quiet of your surroundings.
Just a short stroll away, Hamptworth Golf & Country Club offers golf, padel, pickleball, croquet and excellent dining, while the much-loved Cuckoo Inn is perfect for a relaxed lunch or cosy evening meal. Beyond the doorstep, the New Forest beckons with its ancient woodlands, wandering ponies, picturesque villages and endless opportunities for walking, cycling and discovering hidden corners of this beautiful landscape.
