Escape with your loved ones to this idyllic spot near in the Northumberland countryside. Enjoy exploring the area’s beautiful scenery before curling up in front of the wood burner on a balmy evening. Situated close to the little village of Cornhill-on-Tweed, this home enjoys rural tranquillity right on the border of England and Scotland. You will find a shop and a pub 2 miles away and plenty of historic hot spots within easy reach. Visit Twizel Viaduct (500 metres) and the ruins of Twizel Castle (1 mile) while taking a long walk through peaceful scenery. The coastal town of Berwick-upon-Tweed (11 miles) has several attractions as well as the sandy Spittal Beach, where you can enjoy a family day out.
Situated adjacent to a working farm, this spacious property enjoys a peaceful location. Park up on the private driveway and step into the welcoming hallway to shake off your outdoor gear before heading into the wonderful open-plan living space comprising a lounge, dining area, and a kitchen. The chef of the group can use the well-equipped and contemporary kitchen to prepare meals for all occasions, and everyone can tuck in together at the dining table, which sits in front of the patio doors and looks out over the garden and neighbouring countryside. To the side of this space is another cosy seating area with a Smart TV for relaxed evenings in. The first of the bedrooms is situated on the ground floor, a super-king-size zip-and-link with an en-suite shower room. Completing this ground floor is a handy utility room and a WC. Upstairs are the remaining bedrooms: two king-size with en-suite bathrooms, another super-king zip-and-link and a contemporary family bathroom.
