Brand New 4/2 House Near Beach, w/ King Bed, Backyard

Quiet location, great home. Home description in listing was exactly what we got. Great to be able to park cars in garage. Bedrooms were comfortable. Neighborhood was quiet. Easy to find.

We initially had trouble getting into the house because it had 2 separate key systems. The code we were given was for the less obvious one so we couldn’t open the door. The host was very responsive to our questions even though it was 11:00 pm.The house was new and had plenty of room. There were, however, various issues that affected our ability to thoroughly enjoy our stay. We had 5 adults in our party. There was 1 towel for each person but no wash cloths. There were only 3 dinner plates in the kitchen. One would expect at least 8 place settings in a house that could accommodate 8 people. There were a total of 3 clothes hangers in the whole place. The coffee maker was a 2 cup pot. Needless to say we had to make several pots every morning. There were no chairs for beach outings even though we had requested some be provided. There was no grill available. There was a problem with the kitchen faucet. It leaked water at the base every time we were running the water. On the surface the house looked clean but going barefoot revealed that the floor had not been thoroughly mopped. We went to Dollar General and purchased hangers, wash cloths and cheap bag chairs so that we could enjoy our stay more fully. We left those things for future renters. (You’re welcome).
