This inviting 4-bedroom home plus loft offers plenty of space to relax, with 2 full bathrooms, a dramatic stone fireplace, open living area, and a beautiful wooded setting. Spend your days exploring the Poconos, then unwind by the firepit surrounded by the trees. Perfect for families, friends, and year-round mountain getaways.
Welcome to Chalet Shenanigans
Tucked away on a spacious private property, Chalet Shenanigans is a warm and inviting mountain retreat designed for memorable getaways with family and friends. With 4 private bedrooms, an additional loft sleeping space, 2 full bathrooms, a cozy stone fireplace, expansive deck, fire pit, gaming area, and plenty of room to spread out, the home blends comfort, privacy, and laid-back luxury.
Whether you’re gathering around the fireplace after a day out, enjoying dinner on the deck, or relaxing under the stars by the fire pit, Chalet Shenanigans offers the perfect setting to slow down and spend time together.
The Main Level
The heart of the home is the spacious open living area, featuring a beautiful stone fireplace that gives off heat and creates a cozy chalet atmosphere. Curl up on the sofa for a movie, enjoy one of the many board games, or simply relax together after a day of exploring.
The fully equipped kitchen has everything you need to make dining in easy, including a Nespresso machine, traditional coffee maker, toaster, cookware, dishes, and kitchen essentials. A combination washer/dryer is also available for guest use.
The dining area seats 8 guests comfortably, with 2 additional barstools nearby for extra seating.
From the living room, step outside onto the large deck overlooking the private yard. With ample outdoor seating and a barbecue grill, it is an ideal spot for morning coffee, casual meals, or peaceful evenings outdoors.
Bedrooms & Sleeping Spaces
The first floor features two private bedrooms:
Bedroom 1: King bed + TV
Bedroom 2: Queen bed + TV
A full bathroom is also located on the main level.
Upstairs you’ll find:
Bedroom 3: King bed + TV
Bedroom 4: Full-over-twin bunk bed
Loft / “Bedroom 5”: Full-size pullout bed + TV
The upstairs loft is a fun additional living space located just outside the bunk room, complete with a Nintendo gaming console, books, and TV.
A second full bathroom is located upstairs.
Families traveling with little ones will also have access to a Pack ’n Play and children’s reading material. Guests must bring their own fitted sheet for the Pack ’n Play, as Pack ’n Play linens are not provided.

Chalet Shenanigans was designed with downtime in mind. Guests can enjoy:

* Maximum Occupancy: 10 guests
* No pets allowed
* No smoking
* No parties or events
* No prom parties
* No unauthorized guests
* Quiet Hours: 10:00 PM – 8:00 AM
*Please be mindful of the loft with children. Also the bunk bed room the fan is very close to the top bunk. Please be mindful of this.
* Please be respectful of our neighbors and the surrounding community at all times.
* No food, garbage, or trash may be left outside the home at any time. Food and garbage can attract bears and other wildlife.
* All garbage must be placed inside the designated garbage container, and the bear-locking bar must be properly secured after every use.
* This home is located in an area where bears and other wildlife may be present. Guests should remain alert, supervise children outdoors, never approach or feed wildlife, and follow all posted or provided safety guidance.
* By booking this property, guests acknowledge that wildlife encounters are a natural possibility in the area and agree to use appropriate caution while on the property.
***Any violation of these rules will result in a $1,000 fine and immediate removal from the property without a refund.

Tobyhanna State Park -15 minute drive
Tobyhanna State Park is open every day from sunrise to sunset.
The beach is open from late May through early September 8 am to sunset and offers swimming, picnic areas, camping, and boating. You can rent rowboats, kayaks, paddle boats, canoes, and motorboats.
The beach area has restrooms and changing rooms, and showers.
