Recently refreshed cedar cabin located 8 min from Mt. Snow & nearby hiking, snowmobile trails, swimming, golfing, cute New England towns, great local restaurants & more. This cozy-yet-spacious home sits nestled on a private wooded lot with stunning views of the sunsets & offers a peaceful escape for up to 10 guests. Inside you are treated to a charming open-concept living area with vaulted ceilings, exposed timbers, & a wood-burning fireplace, making this an ideal mountain getaway!
The space
Located 2 hours and 45 minutes from Boston, 3 hours and 20 minutes from Portland, and 4 hours from New York City, the cabin provides a perfect escape that has something for everyone.
The cabin sits on a private wooded lot surrounded by trees, allowing you to enjoy the serenity of nature while still being a quick, easy drive to nearby mountains and charming New England towns filled with shops, restaurants, and bars.
Hospitality has been a big part of my career, so I know how much the little things matter. We’ve brought that same thoughtfulness into this home.
We have a fully stocked kitchen with all of the pots, pans, dishes, and basic cooking essentials you need, plus salt, pepper, coffee, and tea for your mornings.
The open dining area and living room make for a wonderful gathering space to watch movies, play games, or enjoy a good book by the fire. The dining table comfortably sits 6-8 people with extra seating available in the master bedroom closet.
There are 5 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms in the cabin, perfect for a group of friends, couples, or families. Each bedroom has a bedside lamp with USB chargers and white noise machines so you can fall asleep to the nature sounds of your choosing. The master bedroom upstairs has a queen-sized bed and a smart TV. It also has its own bathroom with a shower and tub. The other 4 bedrooms are on the main level. Two of the bedrooms have queen beds, and the third bedroom has a large bunk bed with a full-sized bed on the bottom and a twin bed on top. The final bedroom has a twin bed and makes for a cozy little nook, especially for a teen.
The washer and dryer are located in the twin room and are accessible to guests.
The outdoor fire pit and chairs provide another cozy spot to relax and enjoy the outdoors.
This Dover cabin is tucked into the beautiful mountains of West Dover and offers the best of both worlds- peaceful Vermont surroundings with everything you need just minutes away. Mount Snow, the charming town of Wilmington, local restaurants, cafés, the Dover Free Library, groceries and everyday essentials are all within easy reach. Spend the day exploring the area, then come home to the peace and quiet of the cabin in the woods.
