Larsgården is a cosy holiday home by the lake in Dalarna, located in a small and peaceful village near Venjan. The house sits directly by the water and offers beautiful lake views. With around 85 m² of living space, the holiday home accommodates up to six guests. There are three separate bedrooms, providing plenty of space and privacy even when the house is fully occupied.

The house was last renovated in 2023 and combines the classic character of a Swedish holiday home with modern and comfortable facilities. The cosy living area features a sofa, armchairs and a wood-burning stove, creating a warm atmosphere on cooler evenings. Firewood is available on site.

For entertainment, Wi-Fi and a Smart TV are available. Books and board games are also provided for relaxing evenings indoors.

The modern open-plan kitchen is well equipped for self-catering. Facilities include an induction hob, oven, microwave, dishwasher, refrigerator, large freezer, coffee machine, kettle and toaster. A separate dining area offers plenty of space for shared meals.

The bathroom features a walk-in shower, toilet and washbasin. A hairdryer is also available. During the summer months, a washing machine can be used. Unfortunately, it is not available during the winter months.

A particularly pleasant feature is the covered terrace. Here you can sit outside even when the weather is changeable and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. The property also offers a garden with lawn, garden furniture, hammock and parasol. A charcoal barbecue and fire pit are available for cosy evenings outdoors.

The real highlight of Larsgården is its location directly by the lake. From the property, you can enjoy views of the water and experience nature right outside the house. A rowing boat is included and available for trips on the lake. A SUP board is also provided.

Another, larger lake is within walking distance. Guests bringing their own boat can use a nearby slipway to launch it, making Larsgården a good choice for those who would like to explore the surrounding lakes with their own boat.

The holiday home is also well suited to families. Children are very welcome and a high chair is provided. Bicycles are also available for exploring Venjan and the surrounding countryside.

The area around Venjan is characterised by deep forests, lakes and wide open nature. The larger Lake Venjanssjön offers good opportunities for swimming, paddling and fishing. Its gently sloping sandy beaches also make it attractive for families.

For a longer day trip, Mora is well worth visiting. There you will find the Zorn Museum, the famous Vasaloppet finish line, as well as shops and restaurants. Nusnäs, known for the traditional production of the famous Dala horses, is another popular destination.

Sälen is another attractive destination and is located around one hour from the holiday home. In summer, the area is ideal for hiking in the mountains as well as downhill and mountain biking. In winter, Sälen is one of Sweden’s best-known winter sports regions and offers excellent opportunities for downhill skiing and cross-country skiing. Various providers also offer snowmobile tours and dog sledding experiences.

Families can also visit Sagolandet Tomteland near Mora. With these varied excursion possibilities, the region offers plenty to do throughout the year.

Pets are not allowed at Larsgården and the house is non-smoking. Bed linen is included and final cleaning is also taken care of. Guests need to bring their own towels.
