About this house rental

This log cabin isn’t located right off the road, and you’ll notice that the moment you arrive. Lush nature surrounds the property and offers a sense of tranquillity that’s hard to find. The thick logs set the tone throughout the house, and the sedum roof teems with succulents in the summer, attracting bees and butterflies.

Inside, the high-ceilinged living room with a skylight brings the family together. The kitchen features a spacious dining area, and the house offers several natural gathering spots. In winter, two wood-burning stoves and heat pumps keep the house warm, and in summer, the logs keep it cool. The house is beautiful both inside and out.

The yard has room for all kinds of play, and the covered shed with large black beams is a natural gathering spot in the evening. Here, you can light a fire in the fire pit and sit under the roof. The large patio and the covered woodshed offer you more opportunities to be outdoors, no matter the weather.

Arresø, with its observation towers and trails, is located in the area, and Liseleje Beach offers swimming and walks. Liseleje Plantage is open to dogs off-leash year-round. Byaasgaard is a farm shop and coffee bar featuring local produce and a full breakfast. You can also visit Hundested Harbor, which has restaurants, craft shops, and a small coffee roastery.
