This seaside home is ideal for couples, small families or friends looking for a relaxing escape, with space for up to four guests. Its beachfront setting makes it perfect for walkers, dog owners and anyone who enjoys coastal landscapes, while nearby amenities such as cafes and restaurants are within easy reach. The surrounding Dumfries and Galloway area offers a wide range of activities, including golf at Powfoot just down the road, cycling on the 7stanes trails, and wildlife watching at Caerlaverock Wetland Centre (12 miles). Cultural attractions linked to Robert Burns and historic sites such as Caerlaverock Castle (11 miles) are also nearby, while Annan (3.5 miles) and Dumfries (15 miles) provide shops, eateries and leisure facilities.
Approached from the front, this traditional terraced cottage opens into a welcoming hallway leading to a cosy sitting room positioned to make the most of the spectacular sea views. The room features comfortable seating and a wood burner, creating a warm and inviting space to sit back after a day on the beach. To the rear of the property, the spacious kitchen and dining area is bright and well-equipped, with a large dining table for shared meals and direct access to the garden. Upstairs, the accommodation includes a king-size bedroom with stunning vistas over the Solway, allowing guests to wake up to ever-changing coastal scenery, alongside a twin bedroom suited to children or friends sharing. A family bathroom completes the first floor, featuring a Jacuzzi bath and a separate shower.
Outside there are two distinct garden spaces. To the front, a sunny seating area overlooks the beach – perfect for morning coffee while watching the tide. To the rear, a fully enclosed garden with patio and outdoor furniture provides a sheltered space for al fresco dining or relaxing in the evening. Secure garage storage is available for bikes or outdoor equipment, and there is off-road parking for one car at the rear, with additional free on-street parking at the front of the property.
