The town of Stranda's about a ten-minute drive away. Ålesund, known for its Art Nouveau buildings as well as its cafés and coffee shops, is about an hour away—including a ten-minute ferry ride. In winter, you can experience one of the world’s best ski resorts, renowned for its views of the mountains and fjords.
