About this apartment rental
Welcome to Willow Bend. As you venture along the bend on Baulch Road, take your time as you will pass the five towering, majestic Willow trees planted around 60 years ago, by the original property owners, the “Baulch Family”. This is the entrance to your country retreat, whether for a relaxing quiet adventure for your vacation, a weekend get-away or work-cation. Willow Bend is located three minutes from Historical downtown Port Hope.
The space
You have your own secret garden entrance through a beautiful arbor onto your spacious deck which leads you through your private door into the charming two-bedroom, mid-century modern suite.
Your suite is fully equipped for either a weekend retreat or a long-term stay. The suite has a full kitchen, cookware, dishes, linens and laundry facilities (available upon request).
There is a propane BBQ and outdoor seating on your private deck. The firepit area is available based on availability, weather, and request. Please, sit out and enjoy the evening sky and the dancing stars!
Children are welcome to run and play. We have placed a soccer ball and nets for them to run off steam. We also have a swing set for toddlers to enjoy.
Guest access
Check-in is easy with your access code sent 24 hours before your stay. Check-out is even easier….bundle the laundry into the bin, bag the trash, lock the door and safe travels to your next destination!
Early check-in and late check-outs are very difficult to approve from May through August as Willow Bend is in high demand and as such we have many back-to-back stays. We apologize in advance for not being able to approve.
SEPTIC SYSTEM - As this is a rural property, we use a septic system. Please do not flush anything other than toilet paper provided.
SMOKING - This is strictly a non-smoking property of any substance. Your co-operation here is greatly appreciated.
FIREPIT - Use of the firepit area is welcomed. Camp fire is subject to weather and availability. Permission to have a fire is mandatory.
SWING SET, SOCCER NETS/BALL - available for kids to use and have fun.
