About this cabin rental
Spacious and practical, this single-level cabin offers an easy coastal base for families or small groups. After a day out, stretch out on the sofa with a cold drink in hand or enjoy a movie on the HD TV.
The well-equipped kitchen has all the essentials for easy meals at home, from an oven, stove and microwave to a dishwasher, fridge and freezer. Make an espresso to start the morning, cook with everyday essentials on hand, and share meals around the dining table for six.
Three bedrooms provide a queen, double and single bed, each with a ceiling fan and clothing storage for added convenience. The bathroom features a shower, toilet, and complimentary toiletries for everyday convenience. For longer stays or freshening up after beach days, a private washing machine, drying rack and iron make laundry easy.
Split-system air conditioning and heating are located in the living area only. Ceiling fans are provided in all bedrooms, as well as the living and dining areas.
Please note that this is a private granny flat positioned at the rear of another residence. It is separately fenced and has its own independent access, with no shared spaces. There is no on-site parking, so guests will need to use available street parking, which is free 24/7.
During your stay, you and your group will have the entire cabin to yourselves. Please make yourselves at home!
Tucked into a quiet pocket of Port Noarlunga, the home is just a three-minute drive from the beach and historic jetty, where clear blue water, a protected reef and striking red cliffs shape the coastline. Snorkel among marine life, cast a line from the jetty or linger by the shore as sunset colours sweep across the ocean.
Around Gawler Street, Port Noarlunga’s café and dining scene makes it easy to stay local. Start with brunch at Agatha’s or Noori on the Midcoast, pick up a fresh bake from Beck’s Bakehouse or coffee from Coffee Factory Cafe. Later, settle in for Mexican flavours at Tequila n Tacos, Italian at Mamma Carmela, or classic fish and chips by the water.
A five-minute drive south brings you to the Onkaparinga River Mouth View Point, a peaceful lookout where the river meets the Southern Ocean, ideal for a sunset stroll or a spot of birdwatching and kayaking. For shopping and day trips, Colonnades Shopping Centre is a short drive away, while the vineyards, cellar doors and restaurants of McLaren Vale are within easy reach.
Due to local regulations, we can happily host you for up to 90 nights. Any bookings that exceed this duration will be cancelled by Vrbo.
Early check-in and late check-out are subject to availability and must be approved in advance.
Check-out after 10:00 AM without prior approval may incur a fee of $50 per hour.
A baby convenience package (porta cot and high chair) is available for $50 per stay, booked in advance. The porta cot meets Australian safety standards, but we don't supply linen or a mattress for it. We're unable to set up equipment ourselves due to insurance requirements, but both items are easy to assemble; please leave them assembled on departure.
