Bright forest cottage near Ystad's beach

This newly renovated cottage from 2022 combines classic charm with modern comfort. Latticed windows and doors in muted shades of green blend seamlessly with the surrounding nature, while generous windows facing three directions fill the open-plan living area with light.

The upper level, with its sloped ceiling, features painted wood panelling and elegant wallpaper. Here you’ll find two peaceful bedrooms, a half-bath, and a cosy TV nook with armchairs, toys, and games. The rustic dining table downstairs offers plenty of space for long meals and board games.

The glass-enclosed patio serves as a sheltered extension of the living room from spring through autumn. The house sits on a lush wooded plot surrounded by tall pine trees, birches and thriving plantings—a true oasis where you can relax to the sound of birdsong and the tranquillity of nature.

Ystad Beach is just a short walk away, perfect for a morning dip or evening strolls. Visit Kåseberga and Ales Stones for breathtaking ocean views, or explore Ystad’s cobblestone streets and colourful half-timbered houses. Don’t miss a classic herring sandwich in the cosy harbour.
