About this house rental
Welcome to the authentic stable building at Granheim Farm, a hidden gem in the picturesque Norwegian landscape. This stable building has been transformed into a modern and cozy guest cabin, giving you a unique opportunity to immerse yourself in Norwegian farm life.
The interior of the cabin is modern, but has retained the rustic style of the farm. It has an open-plan kitchen-living room with all the necessary facilities, two bedrooms, and a bathroom with shower. You will feel at home as soon as you enter this warm and welcoming cottage.
Outside you'll find a covered balcony with stunning views of the surrounding countryside, as well as a heated barbecue hut that can be used all year round. You can also get a taste of the real farm work - here you are welcome to watch as we feed our Westhighland cattle. The farm's 3 Border Collies are also very social and enjoy petting.
The area around the farm offers a variety of activities. You can spend the long summer days fishing, canoeing, hiking or mountain biking. In winter, snowmobiling and cross-country skiing are popular activities. Børgefjell National Park and its countless fishing opportunities are just a short distance away.
Ski in / ski out: Cross-country ski trails right outside the cabin.
Ski resorts nearby: approx. 60 min to Bjørgan Ski Resort.
