About this house rental
Welcome to The Cabin on the Canal, a spacious 4-bedroom, 3-bath Central Oregon retreat in the peaceful Three Rivers community, just south of Sunriver and approximately 10–15 minutes from Mt. Bachelor.
With approximately 2,500 square feet, two king bedrooms, two queen bedrooms, and comfortable accommodations for up to 8 adult guests, this home was made for families and friends who want to experience Central Oregon together—with plenty of room to spread out.
THE CANAL-FRONT EXPERIENCE
Step outside to one of our favorite features—the fenced backyard leading to your own private dock on the canal.
The home sits directly on the canal, just a few homes from where the canal connects with the Deschutes River. During the warmer months, when water levels allow, guests can launch from the dock and access the Deschutes for kayaking, paddleboarding, floating, and exploring.
Please note that the canal is seasonal. Water levels typically begin to drop in the fall as seasonal water management of the Deschutes River system changes. During the winter months, the canal has no flowing water. Water generally returns in the spring, typically around April or May, depending on annual water conditions and operations.
Summer brings days on the water, while winter brings an entirely different Central Oregon experience. After skiing, snowshoeing, or exploring the area, come home and soak in the private hot tub, gather around the gas fire tables, or simply enjoy the peaceful setting.
