Welcome to the Texas Casita – a charming 2-bedroom, 1-bathroom retreat that sleeps up to 6 guests comfortably. Each bedroom features a plush queen bed, and the living room offers a cozy queen-size pull-out sofa for extra guests.
This little casita is truly a labor of love. We’re born-and-raised Texans who’ve spent our whole lives here, and we wanted every corner of this home to wrap you in the warmth, pride, and one-of-a-kind hospitality that only Texas can offer. From the moment you walk in, our hope is that you’ll feel like you’re living Deep in the Heart of Texas – because around here, you’re not just renting a place… you’re coming home for the weekend.

You’ll have the entire house—front yard, backyard, and all the outdoor amenities—completely to yourself during your stay. Enjoy it all!
We live just minutes away and are always happy to help however you’d like, whether that’s popping by with extra towels, recommending the best local taco spot, or giving you total privacy. You set the vibe—we’ll follow your lead!

PARKING
Texas Casita sits on a charming, narrow semi-private street. The driveway fits one vehicle only (car or standard-size truck). Any additional vehicles can easily park for free on Mistletoe St. (the street perpendicular to Ewald St.—just a few steps away).
CANCELLATION POLICY
• Full refund available up until 5 days before check-in.
• Within 5 days of arrival, we’re sorry but we’re unable to offer refunds or partial refunds of any kind. Because we’re a small, owner-run property, this firm policy helps us fairly compensate our wonderful cleaning and maintenance team who work hard to keep the Casita shining for every guest.
WE’RE HUMAN (AND SO ARE OUR HELPERS) ❤️
We pour an enormous amount of love and effort into this home so you have an amazing stay. That said, we’re not perfect! If you ever notice anything that needs attention—especially cleaning-related—please message or call us right away and we’ll jump on it immediately (often the same day).
Please note: We do not refund cleaning fees, but we will personally return to the property and make it right at no extra charge.
TRAVEL PROTECTION
If there’s any chance you might need to shorten or cancel your trip close to your dates, we strongly recommend adding third-party travel protection at booking. We’re unable to refund nights once you’re within the 5-day window, regardless of the reason.
