Welcome to Bayside Solace, a new construction waterfront retreat made for slowing down, reconnecting and making lasting family memories. Take in stunning Puget Sound and mountain views from the spacious deck, watch sailboats from the nearby yacht club and spot bald eagles soaring overhead. With 4 bedrooms, 3 baths, two living spaces, a cozy fireplace, kayaks, paddle boards, wet bar, stocked kitchen and dedicated workspace, everything is here to settle in, breathe deep and enjoy the bay.
The space
Bayside Solace is a spacious, new-construction two-level daylight basement home designed for families and groups to gather comfortably. With 9-foot ceilings throughout and beautiful vaulted ceilings in the main living room, the home feels bright, open, and airy while showcasing the incredible water and mountain views.
A short one-hour scenic ferry ride or 30 minute fast ferry from downtown Seattle makes this waterfront home an ideal convenient getaway for locals or a fun way to take in a concert or game for out-of-towners. Drive just 10 minutes from the ferry dock to this bayside getaway.
The main level features two queen bedrooms, including one ADA-friendly room, and an ADA-friendly full bathroom with a wheel-in shower and grab bars. You’ll also find the well-stocked kitchen, living and dining areas, and upper deck overlooking the bay. Please note, there are 3 steps to enter the home, so the property is not fully wheelchair accessible.
Downstairs are two additional bedrooms and two full bathrooms, including the primary bedroom with an ensuite bath, walk-in closet, and dedicated workspace. This level also features a second living room, wet bar, laundry room, and access to the lower patio. For evenings in or a little friendly competition, you’ll also find a ping-pong table, puzzles, board games, playing cards, and a selection of books to enjoy.
Outside, there’s plenty to enjoy without ever leaving the property. Practice your putt on the putting green, play a round of yard games, or gather around the wood-burning fire pit in the evening. The upper deck and lower patio offer even more space to relax, dine, and take in the waterfront setting. An outdoor heater on the top deck allows you to enjoy the outdoors no matter the season.
Bringing a boat? Bayside Solace has a private buoy just offshore, giving guests the option to bring their own boat and enjoy even more time on the water. Please contact us before your stay if you plan to use the buoy so we can share important details and make sure it is appropriate for your vessel.
With bedrooms, bathrooms, living spaces, and outdoor areas on both levels, there’s plenty of room to gather together or spread out and relax while enjoying the beautiful water and mountain views.
Guest access
During your stay, Bayside Solace is yours to enjoy! Guests have private access to the entire home, yard, deck, patio, driveway, and waterfront property. Settle in, spread out, enjoy the outdoor spaces, head down to the water, and make yourself at home. We want you to feel like Bayside Solace is truly your home away from home while you’re here.
Other things to note
A beautiful rock retaining wall lines the driveway. For everyone’s safety, please enjoy it from the ground and do not climb or allow children to climb on the rocks. Thank you for helping us keep everyone safe!
A path from our yard leads down to the water and private beach. For safety, a fence and gate help keep little ones from accessing the waterfront without an adult and prevent balls and toys from rolling down the hill. Please keep the gate closed when not in use.
Property is located on the waterfront and has upper deck with railings. Make sure children are supervised at all times.
A quick note before you arrive: there is a home above Bayside Solace that is currently being renovated. Please excuse the temporary eyesore! Thankfully, it is only visible from the driveway and front entrance as you come and go. Once inside the home and enjoying the deck, patio, yard, and beautiful bay views, it is out of sight.
