Weligama Surf & Stay

An unforgettable experience! We didn't plan to go surfing, but we found out that the owner of the hotel is actually one of the best surf instructors in Weligama. After seeing his details, we decided to give it a try. Although I had tried surfing before, I could never manage to stand up on the board. But he got me standing up within just a couple of minutes—it was an incredible experience, and now I can actually surf! The hospitality was top-notch, and their breakfast was absolutely delicious. We originally planned to stay only for one night and wanted to extend our stay for another day, but unfortunately, they were fully booked. We were quite sad about it, but this memory is something we will never forget. Thank you to the Surf & Stay team, good luck

I never expected to find such a peaceful and quiet place right in the middle of a busy city. The price is very reasonable, the food is delicious, and the hospitality is amazing! Having access to a shared kitchen was also a big plus. We didn't even want to leave and wished we could have stayed a few more days. An absolute hidden gem and a perfect spot for anyone looking for a relaxing getaway

One of the best hospitalities I have ever experienced in Sri Lanka! The breakfast was exceptionally delicious, abundant, and felt like a truly high-end experience—we were honestly amazed by how wonderful it was. They even mentioned that some of the ingredients are freshly grown right on their own farm. Run by such a warm and lovely family, they made us feel completely at home. I warmly recommend anyone visiting Weligama to stay here and experience their genuine hospitality for yourself!
