Sítio Nascente do Arvoredo offers cozy cabins in the forest, with mountain views, stable internet, and tranquility for those seeking focus, rest, long stays, or retreats in nature. We are located in the rural area of ​​São Pedro de Alcântara in Santa Catarina, 80 km from Florianópolis International Airport (approx. 2-hour drive), with easy and safe access. We welcome both individual visitors and groups in a comfortable environment integrated with the Atlantic Forest and the mild mountain climate. Our territory is a living agroecosystem, where agroforestry is part of the landscape and also of the experience. Here, visitors can participate in guided planting and harvesting activities, learn about agroforestry systems, hike trails in the preserved forest, and experience agroforestry cuisine—a cuisine born from the land, native fruits, and foods produced in our systems. The cabins offer comfort, private or shared kitchens, and spaces designed for those who wish to work remotely or lead groups. For retreats, workshops, and body practices, we have a practice room with a wooden floor, ideal for yoga, meditation, classes, meetings, and group processes. Stable internet allows digital nomads to stay connected while enjoying the tranquility of the forest. Since 2013, Nascente has developed as a regenerative territory where food production, research, teaching, and experiences meet. Our cultivation spaces function as a living classroom: while planting and harvesting, we study species combinations, design production systems, and regenerate the soil and biodiversity. We believe that regenerating the forest is also regenerating our inner landscape—thoughts, emotions, and relationships—sowing love, cooperation, and community involvement to strengthen agroecological networks, autonomy, and climate resilience. Nascente is also a training space. We welcome farmers, students, groups, and apprentices for workshops, courses, and immersions, and we take this knowledge to other territories. We work with consulting, training, and capacity building in rural communities in Brazil and, since 2023, also in Africa — in Angola, Ivory Coast, and Guinea — supporting processes of autonomy, agroecological networks, and climate resilience through agroforestry systems. In addition to accommodation, we offer complementary experiences that enrich the stay: guided trails, agroforestry cooking workshops, field experiences, thematic courses, and activities connecting with the forest. For groups, we offer infrastructure, team support, and a territory that fosters presence, learning, and integration. For nomads, we offer tranquility, stable internet, and inspiration for remote work. Here, each visitor participates in a living process: harvesting their own food, walking among native trees, learning about agroforestry, and experiencing the regeneration of the external and internal landscape.
