We call our home The Gathering Place because we designed it for exactly that—bringing family and friends together to relax, have fun, and make memories.

Located just 1.9 miles from OU’s Gaylord Family–Oklahoma Memorial Stadium, it’s a perfect home base for Sooner game weekends, campus visits, family gatherings, or a weekend in Norman.

Welcome to The Gathering Place, a comfortable 4-bedroom, 2-bath home tucked away on a quiet residential cul-de-sac in Norman. Located just 1.9 miles from Gaylord Family–Oklahoma Memorial Stadium and 1.3 miles from Campus Corner, our home is perfectly situated for OU football weekends, graduations, campus visits, family gatherings, and weekend getaways.

The Gathering Place was designed with exactly that in mind—gathering together. Enjoy an open-concept kitchen and living area, challenge the family to a game of pool or cornhole, play PS4 or board games, or relax outside on the covered patio while watching TV. When the evening winds down, gather around the large outdoor firepit—we even provide the firewood and lighter fluid!

With comfortable sleeping accommodations, plenty of entertainment for adults and kids, a well-stocked kitchen, and thoughtful extras throughout the home, you can settle in and enjoy your time in Norman.

The space

The Gathering Place offers plenty of room to sleep, relax, cook, play, and spend time together.

The open-concept kitchen and living area serves as the heart of the home, while the game area and backyard provide additional spaces to spread out. Whether you're having morning coffee before heading to campus, watching the Sooners, enjoying a family game night, or relaxing around the firepit, there are plenty of ways to enjoy the house together.

Our home can accommodate up to 8 guests, with 4 bedrooms, 4 beds and a double sleeper sofa.

A note about the sleeper sofa: The sleeper is a double-size bed. While it can accommodate two people, we find it is most comfortable for one adult or two children.

Enjoy convenient keyless entry throughout your stay. Guests receive a unique 4-digit keypad code prior to arrival, so there are no keys to pick up or keep track of.

The driveway comfortably accommodates two vehicles, and additional street parking is available in front of the home.

Other things to note

The Gathering Place is a non-smoking and pet-free home.

We're conveniently located near OU, Campus Corner, downtown Norman, restaurants, shopping, and many of the area's most popular attractions. During OU football weekends and other major campus events, traffic and parking around campus can become busy, so we recommend allowing additional travel time or using Uber/Lyft when convenient.

The Gathering Place is locally owned and operated, and we're happy to share recommendations for restaurants, activities, and things to do around Norman.
