PRIVATE LODGE IN THE HEART OF DOOLIN:
Ocean View Lodge is a four-bedroom lodge in the centre of Doolin village, sleeping up to eight guests.
With a private deck and hot tub overlooking the Atlantic Ocean, it is a peaceful place to relax after a day exploring the Cliffs of Moher, the Burren or the Aran Islands.
PLEASE NOTE: Ocean View Lodge is not suitable for children aged 12 months to 11 years. One infant under 12 months is welcome.
The lodge is within easy walking distance of Doolin’s famous music pubs and restaurants, while the Cliffs of Moher coastal walk begins just across the road.
THE LODGE:
The bright, open-plan living area has large picture windows framing views across the Atlantic Ocean, the surrounding countryside and Fisherstreet village, with its colourful thatched cottages and houses.
The fully equipped kitchen and dining area open directly onto the private deck and hot tub, where you can enjoy the ocean view.
Wi-Fi is available throughout the lodge. The kitchen gives you the freedom to dine at home, although with Doolin’s excellent restaurants and pubs just a short walk away, you may prefer to leave the cooking to someone else.
BEDROOMS:
The lodge has four comfortable bedrooms, each with its own private bathroom and extra wide shower.
Three bedrooms have 5ft beds, while the third has two twin beds, making the lodge ideal for families or groups travelling together.
All bedrooms have Smart TVs, quality linen, towels and robes.
OUTSIDE:
The private deck overlooks the Atlantic Ocean and Fisherstreet village, with its colourful thatched cottages and houses. . The hot tub is exclusively for guests staying at Ocean View Lodge.
It is a lovely place for morning coffee, an evening drink or a quiet soak after a day exploring the Wild Atlantic Way.
The lodge has three car parking spaces and access to an EV charge point. Please note that the parking area and EV charge point are shared with the other lodge on site.
DOOLIN:
Ocean View Lodge is in the centre of Doolin, within easy walking distance of the village’s music pubs and restaurants.
You can park the car and walk almost everywhere.
There are five pubs and restaurants within approximately five minutes' walk of the lodge. Enjoy dinner, listen to traditional Irish music and simply walk home afterwards.
No driving. No taxis. Just Doolin.
The Cliffs of Moher coastal walk begins just across the road. Doolin Pier, the Aran Islands and the Burren are all within easy reach.
PERSONALl CHECK-IN:
We want your arrival to be easy and welcoming.
A personal check-in and guided tour of your lodge is available between 4:00pm and 6:00pm. We will show you around, explain how everything works and make sure you are comfortable before leaving you to enjoy your stay.
If you expect to arrive after 6:00pm, or if your plans are delayed, please let us know in advance and we will arrange key collection.
BREAKFAST AT YOUR LODGE:
Why rush out for breakfast when you can enjoy it in the privacy of your lodge?
We can prepare our Burren Food Trail Breakfast Buffet and deliver it to you each morning. Enjoy breakfast at your own pace without leaving the lodge.

For a special evening, our Kitchen Takeover experience allows a local chef to prepare a meal specifically for you and your preferences.

GROCERIES & ESSENTIALS
We provide complimentary fresh milk, tea and coffee in the lodge.
We also offer a selection of local craft beers, wines and champagnes for purchase. Doolin has a small grocery shop for everyday essentials, while Ennistymon has a larger selection of food and supplies. We are happy to share our local recommendations for cheese, smoked fish, bread, meats and deli items.
THE CLIFFS OF MOHER:
The Cliffs of Moher coastal walking route begins close to the lodge, offering a wonderful way to experience the cliffs away from the crowds.
Follow the coastline with the Atlantic Ocean and dramatic sea cliffs unfolding along the route towards the Cliffs of Moher. We can also help arrange Cliffs of Moher experiences with local guides.
VISIT THE ARAN ISLANDS:
Doolin Harbour provides easy access to the Aran Islands.
Take the ferry across Galway Bay and spend the day exploring island roads, stone walls, ancient sites and traditional Irish culture.

Very clean and close to everything in town. We walked everywhere! Saw some amazing Irish bands, drank at a few pubs, took a ferry for a day trip to the amazing aran islands. Host met us at check in and gave us a tour of the property and tips for things to do. Would definitely stay here again. It had all we needed and wanted. Thank you Niall and darra!

The entire experience was delightful. Our hosts were lovely, helpful, and the type of people you feel you have known - or wish you knew - your entire life. Such a beautiful accommodation and location. I would give this 10 stars if I could!
